For all of my life on Gaia, these items have been the utter cream of the crop for me; the vast majority of my many quests here were for these long-standing and special monthly visitors, even amid the massive outpouring of other premium items.

Monthly Collectibles are, to borrow a phrase, quintessentially Gaian, and thus quintessentially Akira.

I've managed to gather a substantial amount of the earlier ones over the years (including everything released so far in 2014), but my collection is far from complete, especially when it comes to those sweet, sweet Sealed Letters.

And now, the time has come for the absolute completion.

Now, it's possible that by now you're wondering why I haven't included 2003's MC offerings in this quest; the answer is that most of THOSE are on a whole different level of reverence for me, and I think for many Gaians, especially those that have been around for a long time.

'03s are just a whole lot more expensive too, and beg their own dedicated quest(s).

Here's a list of these incredible people, who came together to give this Gaian the greatest gift of all ( :3 )... Lady Hellraiser (250,000 gold), Valenas (8 Blue Striper), xX_hamstertears_Xx (62 Blue Striper), and then indispensible sent a trade with 525 Blue Stripers, which happened to be the lucky result of an immensely Godlike person named Luccessi overhearing indi and Valenas talking about my quest! Ohhh, gosh... Where to begin?

I guess I'll start by saying that there is NO WAY AT ALL I would have gotten the Mutha Guppa Mask without the help of my many amazing friends, old and new, whose support and donations have been absolutely incredibly out-of-this-world since I reacquainted myself with Gaia and took up my quest again this past May. I have so many to thank, (in no particular order)...

Valenas. you have been around since I've been back around and are extremely generous and faithful. That you changed your quest to be dedicated to helping mine is something I'll never be able to fathom the pure angelicness of. I truly appreciate how much you've worked just to help a girl get a wacky fish mask.

Indispensable, I feel like we're still new friends, but it's surely been over a couple of months by now, haha ~ Well, you gave me your Mutha Guppa that you yourself actually caught... That was one of the most amazing moments of my Gaia life. And then the sheer quantity of Blue Stripers you've given me is just insane. Let's not forget how expensive large and rare fish are! We've become really great friends, I think, and you've more than helped me realize what is honestly one of my oldest Gaia dreams.

xX_hamstertears_Xx, you've been around even back when I was only on Gaia for a few weeks at a time in a two-year (or so) period helping me out with this quest and right up until the very end! The amount of Bass and Stripers (and gold) you've given me is immense and your contribution to my quest has been just enormous; the modesty that came with your frequent donations was always met with my wide eyed amazement, for sure.

Draconic Oni... You gave me a Mutha Guppa and a million gold. I still cannot believe that! That's insane. Like, really insane. Unfathomable, even! You are insanely amazing and an awesome person and... Gosh, was that just a few days ago? It definitely ranks as one of the very best in my long time on Gaia! Allenas, I know you're a busybusy Gaiagirlfren right now, but the days that you dropped hundreds of Blue Stripers upon my quest many many times within a short period, completely buying out the Marketplace more than once are still fresh and tremendously appreciated in my memory, as they always will be, my dear.

CaliginousCloud, my Striper-supplier guy ~ You kept coming back with huge wads of fish for me even though we didn't know each other at all! Each time I got a new trade request from you, I felt like... someone playing roulette who kept winning all in a row, haha!

And there were so many others with donations... All big donations, mind you, as the Blue Striper is not only valuable, it is also not abundantly available! And the bumping, my god, the bumping!! Thank you, friends and, heck, friendly strangers... machic, Lady Hellraiser, nu2me, Eien Ryuu, Brizy Bee, Just A Hufflepuff, Shiblets, Sweetkitty, Zhaonan, MysticAir, arcitcwolf_blue, Pandelic DJ, Wickle, TheDarkestPleasure, shiblets, Taihomi, My Hairy Bells... You're all amazing. So very amazing!!!

I don't think I left anyone out... As you can see, there are a lot of you! And so many selfless, "no no I insist!" donations... I will never ever forget how very kind you all have been to me, all for this crazy but also ridiculously awesome fish mask that I have wanted ever since I first saw it was a thing back in 2005. I may quest for other items, but the Mutha Guppa Mask has been one of my very few holy grail Gaia items. And now I have it, thanks to all of you. Thank you. I love you all!

I didn't complete my quest for the Mutha Guppa Mask thanks to the help of all of these people... We completed it together.
