Dear Journal,

Watermelon and Festivus have finally stopped fighting all the time. They still have their squabbles of course, but thats natural. Lenny is definately relieved as well.

I, however, am becoming very frazzled. A lot of new kids have been popping into our lives and each brings their own set of troubles.

Jack hasn't hatched yet and I'm begining to worry, that coupled with trying to keep Skuld from wilting is hard enough. Watermelon keeps trying to get Mippin to talk to her normally, and seems to feel insulted when he doesn't. I've tried to explain to her that he can't because he doesn't have a mouth, but she doesn't understand. Hopefully she'll figure it out soon.

The kikus seem to be doing alright. They do miss the ranch, especially now that its open again. I just don't have time to take them there though. I can't stop by Sisikyou, the Sweet Tooth, SSJ's garden/mansion, the circus, Behemoths HQ, or the Darkling HQ for more than a brief visit. I'll be very happy once school is over. Only a few more weeks and I'll be able to spend much more time with my darlings.

Watermelon's reading is coming along, and Festivus writes beautifully considdering. I must get them down to the Sweet Tooth again soon.
