In about 2 and a half weeks I'll be going on a template spree. This means I'll be templating all the current existing dragons and probably redo most of the stages for the dragons I don't like. After that we'll be holding several flatsales and bring this shop back, hopefully permanately. I've been so busy lately I haven't been able to take care of it, but never fear, it will get done. ~::Auction::~

All auctions start at 5K, regardless of stage and what they are for. Auctions will be held for a number of things. Pre-colored special editions, auctioning of rights to a custom for new lineart, ect. They will occur from time to time and will normally be adults. Very rarely we might hold one for a full custom, including lineart.

~::Raffle::~

Raffle tickets are 100 gold a piece. It is by far the cheapest way to get a dragon and most raffles are for custom dragons. People who do not own a dragon may request one free ticket. Because of complications it is asked that you do not request ticket numbers, it is hard on our life.

~::Special Events::~

Special events mean completely free dragons. They are not normally custom dragons, but sometimes I will make them customs. These events come around once in a blue moon, so don't get your hopes to high. They are often done in terms of raffles to make it more fair, but sometimes it will be the first person to post. Some of these special events include RP contests, those are always fun. The RP contests will be for Albino's generally, the only way that you can get one. These contests will be long and drawn out, so if you want an Albino, be prepared to earn it.

That's right, I will do pet trades. If you would like to do an art/pet trade for a dragon or familiar you have to wait for a spot to open unless your on the list below, then I'll take a swap at any time. ^.^ To request a pet trade when a Spot is open, simply PM me with your shop link, and what you would like to trade. If I okay it, then filll out the required information and we can complete the trade. Remember, you don't have to own the shop to trade w/ me, though consensus of the owner to trading your pet is sought after. You don't have to own any pets to trade, either, you can just be good at art and do art for my sig.

If you absolutely know you can�t afford a dragon, but you really want one for yourself or your friend, there is help. Below there is a list of people who would like dragons, but can't afford them. Those who have dragons or extra money, it would be kind of you to pay for a dragon for these people during flatsales. All you have to do is post that you would like to pay for a dragon for so and so who is on the doner list. Sometimes I will take names off the list and do a dragon for you. If you would like to be added to the list you must PM me. Keep in mind that sometimes I won't allow any people on the list because of problems with to many people.

Facts

Size: Dragons vary in size depending on type, however females tend to be larger than males. Except in the Toltican breed as it is the other way around. Wingless can be anywhere from 7 1/2 to 9 feet tall. Azelus dragons (not shown yet) from 9-10 feet at the shoulder. Pendragrifs from 11-12, Europeans 12-13, Asian 13-14, and Toltican 14-15. Size scale of the dragons to people and each other
Connections: They roam in bands of their own element, though stray to seek assistance or companionship of their humanoid companions.
Rivalry: Each band has another it will not interact well with. The two meeting in their travels tends to result in arguments, minor, or major fights breaking out. A rival pack is called a clash.
Aliances: Aside from the Dragon - Speaker alliance, there are alliances amongst bands in times of struggle or danger. Every pack but the Dark Band can always seek help of the Light Band, whom are always looking for ways to aide others.
Specialty: Some Dragons specialize in offense, while others in defense. This determines whether he/she is more of a guardian (defense), or a fighter (offense), and specializes in those types of skills. Defensive Dragon's shielding spells are twice as strong as offensive's, while it's vice-versa for those specializing in offense.
Dragons go through 5 stages.
Stage Development : When will my Dragon grow up?
The rate will depend on if your Dragon is active in RP or not, but will grow no matter the case.
As the egg, only one post is nessisary - the location of the egg, and/or it's bond finding it.

You, the "Speaker"
All humanoid companions are called Speakers. This, because of the connection between them. Speakers have the special ability to understand dragons the way normal people do not. Speakers, most at least, contain the uncanny ability to speak in draconic. This is an extremely hard task to do, for the language is filled with complexity and only the most elegant of tongue can speak it. Ocassionally Speakers will be bonded with their dragons, this is quite rare, but it occurs. Being bonded simply means that they feel each others pain and sometimes thoughts. Often times they will be drawn to one another. Dragons losing their bonds have been known to go insane, however the loss of a Speaker may not be so threatening. Speakers are defined by their understanding of dragons, so even if they cannpt clearly speak or understand draconic, they can understand the dragon through their body language and reflect themselves in return, though it maybe crude. Often times dragons will not understand human language, having never been taught, and though not as commmon, some do not even know draconic. Its up to you about the whole intermoldings and complex weavings of the commmunication of dragon and speaker that you have, but these are a few guidelines to help you understand. You do not only play your Dragon, but yourself as well. (Except in those few cases where you just play the dragon) Higher spiecies - humans, elves, and the like- have weaponry that usually consists of basic swords, daggers, bows, ect, and the use of magic available to them as well. Though their magic isn't as strong compared to that of the Dragon.
Your personality as the Dragon's Speaker, is up to you. You are not assigned a character, and it can simply be your avatar put into character form (or anything else you'd like.) However, only the Speaker's name will be put on your certificate. The character is just you.

Dragons were here long before any bi-pedal creatures came into existence. In the beginning all they could do was breath fire, but a few select dragons began to harness the elements found on Jurgen. These dragons were called the Toltican, and soon other dragons began to wonder how they had harnessed their power. The Toltican were a quiet breed and normally hid from other, intermingling with only their own kind. This further annoyed the other dragons, until they decided to form groups among themselves. The small Wingless breeds were able to sneak amongst the Toltican during the night and listen to their secrets. However, what they did not know was that these Toltican were dark as they existed in the night and many dragons began to learn the dark secrets. These were the hardest to learn and so most of the dragons ended up killing themselves or reeking havoc on others.

The other Tolticans new they must stop this, and they all banded together to learn all of the magical abilities. Once every single Toltican across the land had learned of these powers, a few select Tolticans were sent to teach every other dragon a particular skill they wanted to learn. Dragons specialized in one to three elements. Their children, however, possessed none of the magical skills they had worked so hard to learn. This frustrated almost all of the dragons and a committee was formed.

The most skilled dragons were brought from far reaching corners of Jurgen. It took them many years, but at last they divised a plan that would cause all dragons to have elements imprinted in them forever. The catch was that dragons could not learn any new elements unless a Toltican again taught them. If two water dragons that had been taught fire wanted a fire baby, they would have to adopt it. Unless a rare and strange occurrence called an Albino was born. These dragons had the ability to learn any element based on the life they were raised in. No matter what they practiced when they were young their children could be born of any element. Making them admired, and wished for, by the dragons of Jurgen.

To cope with this distress, dragons began to form bands that specialized in certain abilities. They argued amongst themselves about which elements were the best, and often times sparred with their abilities. Some bands allied, making stronger, combined abilities. Others clashed, causing deep feuds, that made dragons hate others of that particular element. The amazing powers of Jurgen's elements had made the dragons stronger, but also torn them apart.

There was also another catch, which none of the dragons saw until very late. Humans, elves, and many other species had been brought to the land in the process. Many could not understand the dragons, but others could. These few select ones that had the natural capability of understanding the dragons were the bridge between the two races. Some dragons despised them, but most wanted a Speaker that they could talk to, and fights broke out over these as well. Other dragons waited patiently for the perfect dragon to come along, but those dragons and their speakers that did exist helped keep Jurgen more peaceful through the understanding of language and life.

Remember that these dragons are RP required and they must be RPed at leased once every two weeks. I will include links to the guild, journals, and private RPs if you PM me with the link to the Rp's you have made. All journals will be posted after the dragons name in the owner's list, so please PM those links to me.

Gender Change 400G - Changes Dragon's current gender.
Child Freeze 200G - Freezes an Dragon that's currently at the pup stage.
Adolescent Freeze 200G - Freezes an Dragon that's currently at the adolescent stage.
Rebirth 200G - COMPLETELY resets your Dragon - new colours, new element, possible new gender. Full outcome unknown. Name can also be changed if it's wished.
Stage Up 1000G - Your Dragon grows one stage with little waiting - takes up to 2 days for effect.
Stage Up X2 2000G - Your Dragon grows 2 stages with little waiting - takes up to 2 days for effect.
Stage Down 600G - Your Dragon drops one stage with little wait. Takes up to a day for full effect. Suggestion is to buy the Stage-freeze with it, unless going back to hatchling stage, too keep it in that form. Dragon must be at child stage or higher to use this!
Stage Down X2 1000G - Your Dragon drops 2 stages with little wait. Takes up to a day for full effect. Suggestion is to buy the Stage-freeze with it, unless going back to hatchling stage, to keep it in that form. Dragon must be at adolescent stage or higher to use this!.
Color Change 1500G - Changes your Dragon's colour & markings. Can be customised for an extra 1K.
ALL Element potions, EXCEPT Spirit 1K - Changes your Dragon to the designated element. May also alter colours - NOT markings. Buying several element potions at once can create a multi-elemental! Requires 2 of each.
Spirit Element potion, 10K - Changes your dragon to the Spirit Element. It may alter colors, but NOT markings. Buying several potions at once can create a multi-elemental, though it requires 2 of each to do so.
Spellbound 1000G - Gives your Dragon a new ability. Can be customised at no cost.

It's 2000G per Dragon couple (1K an Dragon) to be placed into the breeding den. Send me the trade with the name of the couple, and the pair will be placed in a slot. It will be one week before an egg is formed. You may only enter a couple if there is an empty slot. No acceptions. You may breed adolescents, though this is very looked down upon by other dragons, much like teen pregnancy on earth.
It is the owners' responsibility to decide who keeps the egg and what to do with it - only one egg can be kept. If the decision is for it to be sold, MAKE A SEPERATE THREAD. The sharing of profits, again, is decided between the two Speakers/owners/players of the Dragon, but 30% of the profit MUST go to me. Be fair with your prices, and keep it generally around the setting of the eggs sold here (around 3 K). The egg will be a dud if people are overcharged or treated unfairly.
Dragon's mate for life, and can breed once every 4 months. There can be anywhere from 1-3 eggs - randomizer.org is used for deciding this.
Tell me what you are deciding to do with the egg before doing ANYTHING, and the outcome later on.
Lastly, if you'd just like me to flatsale off the eggs myself, I'd be glad to. ^_^ You will still get the profit.

Alright, so Jurgen was a bit more complex than we previously thought it to be. There are thousands upon thousands of species, but for petes sake I can't sketch all of them, or post them here. There would be just to be. So I have compiled a list of the inhabitants that I find most interesting and will be updating their sketches quite frequently. It is asked that you do not take to posting in the thread I am going to include as I will be constantly adding posts there with new discovered species and information on ones already spoken of. This post is here to include information on the generalization of familiars, though you will actually have to go the the link to discover more about them. As a general rule these familiars are also RP required except in rare cases. Unless you are notified by me personally, your pet is RP required, regardless of whether it is familiar or dragon. Many of the familiars of Jurgen posses magical capabilities, though they are toned down compared to the very complex weavings of magic the dragons are apt to. The familiars of Jurgen who contain magic can all wield the exact same spells. Where as the dragons pick and chose through specialty, the familiars have a certain series of spells that are true to their element, and theirs alone.

Now as to ordering a familiar, you may chose to order a familiar in a FS, and fill out the custom form, just remember there will be much improvisation needed on your part when filling out the form, as the familiars are so varied. Flatsales will state wether they are open to just dragons, familiars, or both. All information, pictures, and most anything else you need to know of the familiars will be included in the Jurgen Familiar Information Thread Simply click the link to go to the thread and begin your learning on the Familiars.

Forming A Dragon Band

You must have 3 or more dragons of adolescent/adult age to form a band. There are band leaders called Bahsir. They can be male or female depending on the preference of the band leader. Bands will have their own unique lineart and will be changed for that type of band. >.> There willl be the Bahsir's lineart, then the second-in commands, called Irala, [if you want any] and lastly normal others for that band. No, you don't have to have all the same type of dragon in the band. ^_^ You may also choose not to have the lineart changed for some breeds in the band, this will be up to the Bahsir's player. Once you have formed a band, please fill out the form I have included and then pay 3K total for the conversion of lineart. It may take several days to a week or so before I have it done and a little longer before I have it colored. I will show you the lineart before I color it up. ^-^ You may split up the gold however you would like between people. Make sure you read this whole post before forming any bands.


Bahsir: A Bahsir tends to be, but not always, the creator of a band of dragons. Sometimes already formed bands will have broken up, and then a younger dragon will come to power. Leaders can be kind, fair, and hold democracies or more communistic holds, or they can be evil malicious and well just power hungry. Its up to you. The leader decides the finalaties of everything in the band. So basically unless you want a very angry dragon on your back, you best tell him/her what your planning to do first.

Irala: An Irala is often times related or a very loyal appointee of the Bahsir. They take over in the time of death of a Bahsir, or in a Bahsir's absence. In some bands they have been known to plot very evil schemes beneath the current leader, waiting to overthrow and come to power themselves. There can be one or two Irala, but rarely others.

History of the band: [Be VERY specific on this. If its not at least 2 paragraphs, then I may not accept it, though sometimes paragraphs will do]
Beliefs of the band: [It'd be nice to get a general idea of beliefs.]
Anything Else You want to include: [this is like special customs, marks they give, things they wear, typical personalities, special traits]

Dragon Deaths

Yes, your pet can die. But only if you want it to. It costs nothing to kill your pet, though it must be RPed out. It will cost 1K to 'reborn' your pet. Which means it will start as an egg, this must be RPed out as well. Or you can have it reborn as another dragon 2K. Lastly you can have it customized for 3K. ^_^

Killing your pet is also the way to change it to another breed. That's right, if you want it to change to a different breed, simply 2K for Commons, 8K for uncommons, 15K for Rares, and 100K for extremely rare dragons. ^-^ Make sure you RP out why its changed.

Now changing elements is another matter. It costs 2K for any element, except spirit in death, and 20K to change to spirit. This is the only way a dragon can every be more than 3 elements mixed together, and the occurence is very rare.

Now deaths are a complicated matter. Normally when dragons die, their spirit flows away and they often time become one with the wind and the earth, flowing with their fallen kinsman. Often time these spirits protect people and are the speakers for the trees and so forth. There are legends of spirit guardians in Evengale, though the great mystery has yet to be seen. As Evengale itself has yet to be seen, except by Kealdra and Seonod, but most do not know of this.

Now in some cases, their spirit is trapped and swirled together into an orb. These transluscent orbs are how you know a dragon is to be reborn. Often times an outisde force must trap the spirit so it does not wafte with the wind and become a wanderer, but sometimes dragons will choose to live for whatever reason their subconscience decides and they will resist the elements to become a dragon once again. Dragon who change to another breed are extremely rare, and often times they will try and fail. In ancient times, dragons would kill one another, practicing rebirth from old age and the changing of breeds to live to infinitism. They would form groups and write down what they had learned through the draconic speech, literally imprinting the words they spoke into walls, rocks, trees and ground, which spoke as spirits whenever one would come across such an area. They would become ancient wisdoms as they called themselves, having experienced the grandness of life.

When I get the stuff I need to done for other shops I will be drawing Plushies of each of the dragons so you may buy a plushie look-a-like of your pet.

As well, Draconis)Wyrm is kindly making pixel pets for us to use in the shop. These will be very small versions of each type of dragon in the shop. Maybe even a few other kinds if Draconis feels up to it.
