Introduction
So, what is this charity for anyway...?

Sealed Envelopes. You want? Can't get? You're in the right place!
Every month, I will be giving away two or three Sealed Envelopes of the month (hopefully and usually more!) to Gaians needy of them.
Why am I doing this? Because I hate to see people having to quest for the items that come in the letters, just because they can't afford/aren't allowed/are unable to donate to Gaia. I used to be in that position myself, so I know how flustrating it can be.

The idea, therefore, of this charity is to provide sealed envelopes form the current month to Gaians who cannot donate to Gaia themselves.
If you decide to apply, I would ask you to bare in mind my reasons for setting up this charity. It is not here to provide a freebee that you can sell for your quest (though, once given one, you can do what you wish with it - it is yours
3nodding ) - the only "quests" that I am interested in are ones that are specifically for the Sealed Envelopes. Rather, I wish to provide to people who genuinely desire for items that come inside the envelopes and generally cannot get them, except by chance or saving all month long to get them.
Please note that if there is one thing I hate it's people who scam and cheat. Do not try and take advantage of this charity - I am not stupid, I know that there are people out there who will try and get a free letter by telling me they don't have a credit card, when they have already donated for 100 of them. Be aware, if I catch anybody trying to cheat this charity in that way, there will be consequences.
How does it work?
On the 20th of each month I open up the charity for applicants. You read the rules, post at least five times, and then post your application form. Then you come back and chat if you want to (this does increase your chances of winning). On the 10th of the month you are applying for I will close the charity, giving me ten days before the sealed envelopes open to go through the list and give them out.
Because of some confusion, I want to make this clear - each month
the list is re-set. It is
not a waiting list. You have to apply
each month and from the list I have on the 10th I will choose winners. This process is not easy as there are usually about 10 times more applicants than winners, and over half of them really do deserve a letter.
If I do not choose you it is nothing personal. I like to choose people who stick around the thread a little and, therefore, put in some effort. I may make friends through this but being my friend =/= getting an automatic sealed.

May 13th - The charity is going on haitus for a while. ^^ I just finished my exams and I'm exhausted, plus I am moving home at the end of the month and it may be a while before I can get settled in - but rest assured, we'll be back before too long!
