Aren't rules a pain? Unfortunately, they are necessary. So I will keep this short. Promise!

1. Do Not Steal!

This means that my artwork is exactly that. Mine. I did it. Not you. So no pinchy. This rule also applies to other people's Unicorns - though it seems to me that pinching something with another person's name on it is kinda dumb.

2. Be Nice!

Seriously. Don't go insulting anyone or anything here. You don't have to be visiting this shop, so take your negativity elsewhere, or risk getting blacklisted. So there. I also would appreciate you not using leet or anything like that, cause it irritates the beejeebers out of me.

3. Patience is a Virtue!

I have a life outside Gaia, you know, and another quite popular shop to run. So if your custom Unicorn is taking a while, don't bug me! I will get to it all in good time. The same goes for those you buy in the flatsales. I will cert them as soon as I can, and then PM them to you. The more you bug me, the longer it takes. And if you bug me too much, I will blacklist you, cancel your order, and take the money anyway. So there.

4. I Can Add More Rules if I Want To!

I'm sure there is something I have missed here. So therefore, when I realise what it is, it will be added. So make sure you check back here, just to make sure you don't go breaking any rules and therefore getting blacklisted. Yes, I'm a tyrant. So what? It's my shop, and I will be a gestapo if I want to. Pthbbt!

When I claim a Custom Spot, can I order more than one Unicorn?

Yes, but no more than three at once. And you will still be paying for each of them, mind.

Unicorns. Fact or Fantasy? There are many legends about them, so they must have walked the earth at some stage. But where did they all get to? Why did they vanish?

Between our world and that of Faerie, there is a realm of mists that divides the worthy of crossing from those that aren't, and it is here that the Unicorns have retreated to. It is not an easy place to find, and it is limitless in size, so even those who pass the tests of entry can wander forever and not see even a glimpse of a Unicorn herd.

This is protection for the unicorns, for one of the reasons that they left our world is that the hunger for progress we humans have released an entity known as the Night Side - a nebulous being with the power to corrupt all that is good and turn it to dark ends. Despairing for the state of humankind, the Unicorns vowed to leave and to only return to aid those whom were willing to give up everything to see purity return to the world.

Yay! At last, some pretty pictures! Just what you wanted to see, don't deny it. I can read you like a book! Unicorn have three stages, and these are as follows...

Pod Stage

I bet you didn't know that Unicorns grew from pods, did you? Well, they do, and here is the proof. Oh what the heck. I will say it. Ta-dah!
This stage lasts for at least four days, depending on how busy I am. Nothing happens in this stage, obviously. It's a pod.

Child Stage

This stage will last for at least a week, again depending on how busy I am. In this stage, the Unicorn starts being able to speak in both English and the Unicorn language, and it's personality traits begin to show themselves. Pretty cool, huh?

Adult Stage

Once your Unicorn reaches this stage, you will be required to host it yourself to save my bandwidth. I will most likely PM you when this happens, but please still check back in the thread for growings. Development is complete in this stage, and your Unicorn can now mate, if that is what you wish.

Most shops have pets that are based on elements as the type. Well, things here are a little different, and so I thought that I should explain these types for you.

Harmony

Harmony type Unicorns tend towards being musical in nature. They enjoy decorating as well, liking to have beautiful surroundings, and tend to dech their shelters with flowers. Ther are happiest when everything around them is in balance.

Serenity

Serenity type Unicorns are introspective and quiet. They thrive on silence and calm, and tend to be dreamers and poets. Most other unicorns think of them as air-heads, but these types are so tranquil that such comments affect them not at all.

Courage

Courage type Unicorns are the protectors of the herd, and can be rather boisterous. They are strong and resourceful, and love all types of competition in which they can better themselves and their skills. Nothing frightens these types, and even the most avaricious predator will think twice before taking on a squad of Courage Unicorns.

Gaiety

Gaiety type Unicorns are the clowns of the herd. They are fun-loving and incessantly cheerful, always inventing new games and telling jokes. They can be pranksters, but would never do anything to harm another herbivorous being, and do plan the most wonderful festivals.

Loyalty

Loyalty Unicorns are caring and nurturing by definition, and often can be found in charge of the nurseries. They are steadfast in their devotion to others and also to their duty. Loyalty Unicorns prefer to be around others whom may need their assistance.

Mystical

Mystical type unicorns are nomadic, never tied to one herd. They tend to be loners, and often speak in riddles. Mystical Unicorns are more likely to be the possessors of strange powers, and this makes other Unicorn wary of them. It is also the Mystical type who are most likely to be seduced by the Night Side, and become a danger to others.

Now on to the important stuff. How can you, the valued customer (ooh, suck up!), get your very own unicorn? There are a few ways, so I will outline them here one by one. First...

Flatsale

When a flatsale is happening, this is how you go about things.
First, wait for me to post in big purple letters that the flatsale is on. Then request the one you want by posting clearly the number, gender and type.
Wait for me to post confirming that you will be getting that Unicorn, then send the trade. I will not cert up your purchase until the trade has been totally finalised.
Once this is all done, I will PM your Unicorn to you.

Auction

Occasionally I will auction off a rare unicorn or one that I think is particularly pretty. When this happens, the auction will generally run for three or four days, with the closest bid to my post saying that the auction is closed as the winner.
There is no anti-sniping mechanism in place. I realise that this might be unfair to those with slower connections, but mine is slow as well so even if you are bidding at the last minute, chances are that you will get in before I post that it is finished!

AUCTIONS START AT 1750g, WITH A MIN INCREASE OF 250g, AND AN AUTOBUY OF 25k.

Raffles

Sometimes I might get bored with auctions and flatsales, and raffle off a few Unicorns! In most cases, there will be a maximum number of tickets available, and sometimes a maximum number that each person can buy for themselves. Details for each raffle will be posted with them, so you don't get confused as to what is happening.

RAFFLE TICKETS WILL VARY IN PRICE.

Custom Unicorns

Yes, you can get a Unicorn to your own specifications! At this time, no lineart edits are allowed. I will also consider pet and item trades, so make sure to PM me with your offer and title the message clearly as a Unicorn pet trade, as I do have another shop and I would hate to get confused.

If you would like to get a custom, this is how you do it. First, check the very bottom of this post to see if there are any custom slots open.
Then copy and paste the order form below, posting it here in the thread. PMd custom requests will be ignored.
Once I have finished your Unicorn, I will send you a message telling you that it is ready, and you will be required to send the trade. I will not give you your purchase until it is finalised.

CUSTOM UNICORNS COST 2.5k FOR ADULT STAGE ONLY, AND 5k FOR A FULLY GROWING ONE.
