Welcome everyone! Welcome to ~Creatures of Gar~! Just gotta love that new thread smell! We currently have a flatsale going on,sort of, like always no da! The Item shop is up and running, and everything is going good. Please post here to chat if you feel like it, I'm almost always here and really bored no da! I'm hiring colorists, if you're interested PM me with some examples of your coloring.

To all owners and potential owners of Gazere: I recently Had to wipe all of the information on my computer due to a terrible virus. I managed to get all of my picture onto a disk, but I forgot to do this with my Adobe Photoshop Elements. Photoshop elements came in a software bundle with my Graphire 3 Wacom tablet, and the code needed to install photoshop was on the CD sleeve. I lost the CD sleeve, so now I have to save up for an all new version of Adobe Photoshop Elements(89.99)! Therefore, it'll take a while to get your gazere, and if you already own one it'll be stuck in statis until I can get a new version of photoshop*. If you're interested in supporting me so I can get everything up and running again, PM me for the URL to my Cafepress shop. I might be able to update some of them using my old Photoshop 5.0 Limited edition, but they won't look quite as nice.

*Well, not in statis, but growing REALLY slowly xp

3/5/05 - Crap. I'm behind on... EVERYTHING! I'm really sorry everyone, most of your Gazere should've been children by now. My computer has been really screwed up lately, and I haven't always been able to open the files I need to have everything working smoothly in this shop. ((We have to wipe every single bit of my comps memory now! As soon as I'm done with that, I'll get everything up-to-date, promise))
2/23/05 - STRANGE CREATURE SIGHTING!!! I had just entered Gar, when I came across an amazing creature. I grabbed my camera, and took a pic of it; then it flew away. User Image

Hello, my name is Kako, and I'm gonna tell you about these creatures called Gazere (Pronounced Guh-Zeer)! Gazere are creatures from a universe parallel to our own, called Gar. They live on a planet almost exactly the same as ours, also called Gar, except for one difference; there are no humans. A number of years ago I came upon a small bridge between our two dimensions. At fist it seemed nothing had happened, then I saw the Gazere. Gazere populate all of Gar, from the frozen South Pole to the Deep Jungles. The color of the gazere's pelt usually corresponds with the element they stay in. I noticed strange powers in some of them, but I have no clue what that's about. During my wanderings, I began to find abandoned eggs and infant Gazere. I needed a way to give them homes. Finally, I chose to give them to the good people of Gaia to take care of. When raised from an egg or baby Gazere become amazingly loyal to the one who raised them, and are usually willing to carry that person anywhere. They can understand human speech, but can only speak telepathically themselves.

There are two other species known on Gar, the Terrin and the Alphiya. Not much is known about either of them, more updates as we learn. </center>

Egg- doesn't do much, I mean, it's just an egg! At this stage you don't even know what gender it will be. The pattern on the shell might give you a hint to what your Gazere will look like... but then again, it might not. You could have a pink polka-dotted shell and wind up with a Blue and green striped Gazere! It usually takes about a week for a Gazere egg to hatch.

Baby- Round, Pudgy and rather badly drawn, your Gazere spends most of it's time sleeping at this age. But they sure are cute, aren't they? This stage normally lasts from two to three weeks, but may last longer depending on how quickly the colorists are working.

Child- No longer round, Gazere begin to more closely resemble their Adult form one they reach childhood. I've heard rumors that they occasionally sprout wings at this age, but those are just rumors. This stage can last anywhere from three weeks to two months. Powers usually manifest around this age

Teen- Woo! A newly discovered stage! I don't realy have any description ideas for this stage, please PM me if you do! This is an odd stage, and for some reason Gazere might randomly skip over it. It is possible for Gazere to breed at this age in certain cicumstances.

Adult- The final stage of a Gazere. At this stage they can breed. Much more graceful than it's previous forms, at this age a Gazere is finally suitable to ride. Some powers may manifest at this age, but there won't be many changes once the Gazere is an adult. Females are generally more slender than the males, but there can be cases when males may be slender or females may be bulky(linearts are switched, just to mix things up a bit)
