Mission Statement

Our mission here is to help newbies begin their time on gaia with some useful items. We will help them answer questions and by donating items of their choice between 2-3k in price.

We strive to assist newbies in gaining a better understanding of Gaia and hoping that they will be able to help us out in the future. We start them off. It is our hope that we will not be forgotten when every thing is sed and done.

Every one deserves a chance to start off with some nice items. Thats what were here for. If we can't help you then we will certinally try our best to help you find a person or another Charity that Can.

About the staff:

Charity.l.bedell:

Joined Gaian sometime in November 2004. She enjoys spending her time fluttering around the differnt forums and sub forums and meeting new people. Her home is usueally avatar talk as of late. She also spends quite a bit of time in Morality and religion. You will rarely see this girl in Chatterbox.

She loves to help other Gaians and that is why she created this Charity. She wants to see every newbie off to a good start. She loves seeinf newbies being helped and will often be seen in Welcome to Gaia on her Mule account: Ashely-sweeper.

What the Staff looks for:

You obviouslly read the qualifications for being a newbie. Otherwise you would not be reading this post right here. There are several factors that the staff will consider before making a decision on if the person is going to be accapted and receieve a donation or not.

1) Do they have x number of posts?

2) Have they read through the entire first page and understood what was being said?

3) where have they been posting?

4) what their actuall posts say (yes they will read them)

5) what they have for clothing (remember there can not be an item over 1k on there unless its a gift box item [grass skirts, angelic set])

6) did they fill out the form correctlly?

7) were they poliette?

8 ) did they have a way to return? (sig links work very well)

These are the factors that the staff takes into consideration when they review your application. I post these here for you all to see so you know what we are looking for when we consider some one for a donation.

The age and the date joined is more to see the age levals and difference here on gaia. You can say You dont feel comfoprtable for the age. The date jouned however is to know that you have actually revcentlly joined and that you are working at getting items your self.

You must have a way of donating back to the Charity. If you dont have a trading pass or anything then a link in your signiture (One of our banners) is acceptable.

5-2-05: The Charity is Born. Still looking for another Co-owner and waiting to see if others want to come on in and help us out. Looking for banners are all different sizes and types for our link list.
