<center>~The Story~</center>
One day, a young teenager(Aquira), was exploring some caves on a mountain called "Gryphons' Peak." She did not know why it was called that, only that legend says gryphons once lived there. She went into one of the cave, because a terrible storm had started blowing while she was still up on the mountain. She tripped on something, and landed on a floor covered with a soft, warm material. When lightning flashed outside, the teenager saw that she had landed in a big nest, and there where five different colored eggs, all bunched togethor, in the nest. She fell asleep, near the eggs, and she had a strange dream.
She awoke and their was two gryphons standing over her. They had a friendly look in their eyes, they welcomed her, and let her observe the eggs. They said that it was time to say good-bye,and that she could come back any time. She walked out of the cave, and found herself awake, at home. The only thing that was strange, was that her backpack felt heavier, and that she had a black feather in her hair.
During the night, she heard noises coming from her backpack. She went to it, and opened it to find an egg. Then she realized that the dream she had wasen't really a dream, but her thoughts were interupted by a peeping noise. Her eyes fell upon the egg. It's surface was blue. As she was about to go back to bed, the egg's surface cracked, and the gryphlet was born. The teenager decided to call her, for it was a female, "Dream," for what she thought was a dream was actually real.
She went back the next day, to try and give the egg back, but the gryphon parents said that she could keep it, and take all five eggs with her, to give to her friends. They said that those five eggs where abandoned, and that it would help very much if she could take them, because they already had two fleglings, which where talon-fulls, so they said that she could give them to her friends, which she would do. She took one that had a dark-green surface, one that had a goldish surface, one that had a red surface, one with a black surface, and one with a grey with green stripes.
She said goodbye to the gryphons, and "thank you," and walked back to her home, wondering who to give the eggs to.
