OKay.. First of all, I'd like to give credit for the title. heart Kotoko is one awesome singer and I'd have to say that one of her best songs would be "Wing My Way" which became the basis for my charity title. Secondly, I'd like to thank beckette, maker/artist of my charity banners (yes, all of them). Anyways, in this first post, I'll give a little explanation of what this charity does.

What I do here at Wing Your Way is give out.. gold and sometimes even.. wings! surprised Surprised, eh? Well, I'll be giving out butterfly mantillas and/or pure here. whee Anyways, you can go to the 3rd post to read about qualifications and such. (:

But the way this charity works is like so:
You submit a form and depending on everything, I will put you into the consideration list.
After the list is at a lengthy amount, or when I deem necessary, I will select a questor/charity, put them up on the A-List, and decide on a set amount that I will donate to them.
For example, I might decide on 6k and donate 2k every week or I might decide on a pair of wings and send them to you whenever I can.
This is a new method that I'm trying out for now, and we'll see how it goes~

5/13/06: Oookay, so I'm going to try out this new system that I edited in the 1st post yesterday because basically, I want to give more to the more deserving people. For example, 10k to 1 questor rather than 2k to 5 questors.. n_n So yeah, we'll see how it goes?
4/22/06: Alrighty, I've decided that after I clear this A-List, I'm going to limit it to only 4 at a time because I can't deal with too many at once. sweatdrop And when I start donating wings again, it'll probably go down to 2 or 3. >< I have also decided that if I get to you and you are no longer questing for the item stated in your application (even though you are still question for a different item) I will no longer donate to you, sorry. I want to contribute to what you asked for~ And this takes affect starting today.

10/09/05: Again, after having consulted loyal posters of my charity.. I've decided to cut down and stuff due to low funding and schoolwork, etc. I no longer have that kind of time for gaia but I'm really determined to keep this going. Therefore, I have decided that during the school year, I will donate a flat rate of 2k to all questors, no matter the quest item. During the summer, however, I will go back to the way it is now where I donate a minimum of a pair of wings + the amount of gold I feel the person deserves according to their quest item and dedication. This'll take affect today. Sorry about that everyone. <3
09/25/05: After having gone through some discussion with my UI, we have decided that for those big questors (for example: angelic halo/all donation items/etc.) we will ask that you are at least 70% done with your quest. 3nodding Otherwise, its just too easy for you to give up, my donation having gone to waste. gonk
09/25/05: Hehe, I'm now putting my 'donations' quest on.. hiatus.. because of a little.. discussion with some buddies. xd Anyways, I'm now questing for all female/unisex items (excluding house items). 3nodding

arrow No bumping. heart That means to say that emoticon posts are allowed, but you can't use the actual word bump unless it is in a grammatically correct sentence in which I will allow it because I'm a big sucker for smart people on gaia. wink If I ever catching you posting the word bump for bumping reasons, however, (not in a conversation, for example) then you will no longer qualify for a donation. surprised This is to make sure you read the rules. I will, however, allow pictures with the word bump in it. Anndd.. I'll make exception for only, count them: 1! post, since I understand some people stop by for a friendly bump before reading the rules/applications~
arrow Please, keep it pg13 in here. No rudeness, etc. You might've noticed that I don't have a black list. I trust you guys to keep it that way. mad
arrow Read this post in its entirety before posting, please. This is essential seeing that I have many loops, and I don't want you to go do something stupid therefore not letting you qualify. domokun

arrow An unclassified individual will be doing 'background checks' on people to make sure they really are what I think they are and not receiving a donation that will not be used seriously. Putting you on the 'Preparing for Take Off' list is not official. If either the individual and/or I see it right to take you off, we will.
arrow If you do not accept the trade within a week, it will be cancelled (unless you tell me ahead of time that something's up).
arrow If its your turn for a donation and you haven't been on gaia/posted in your quest/charity thread for the past week, you'll automatically be taken off the list (unless you tell me ahead of time). Its important to be dedicated. surprised

Now for the qualifications..

For questors:
You will be qualified to receive a donation if you are questing for a larger item in which case the donation will help you greatly. For example, you are questing for winged anklets and you are asking for a donation. Again, I will need proof that you are questing (at least 2 weeks old whether it be journal entry or quest thread). If you are questing for an extremely hard goal, however (for example: angelic halo/all donation items/etc.) then I'm going to have to ask that you're at least 70% done with your quest. Otherwise, its just too easy for you to give up and my donation wasted. During the "summer season" when I donate wings, you have to be questing for something over 20k in value because of the wings' price now. If you aren't, go ahead and apply and I will donate however much I feel you deserve in pure a minimum of 2k.

For charity owners:
Your charity must be at least 2 weeks old. Also, it needs to have donated at least a total of 20k. This could all be to 1 person or 20 different people, as long as the total is 20k. :3 Also, your charity needs to be active. I (or my UI) will be determining this by looking at the date you started it and how many pages it is so far, etc. Aka, be dedicated. That's all it takes. All charities will receive a minimum flat rate of 4k during "summer season" and 2k during "school season" if they are donated to.

you didn't make the A-List because you haven't been progressing very much on your quest. Kaoruuu had a creative application, and was making nice progress. It's nothing against you, but kaoruuu was better set up for the donation.
