ANNOUNCMENT!!

Because nobody really enters the contests anymore, I've decided to end both of the contests. As a matter of fact, I'm putting my quest on hiatus until I actually have some time to properly take care of it. I'm planning on making some career changes in the near future that should help with that, but, until then, this quest is officially on hiatus / hold / whatever you want to call it

Intro

Welcome to my Eternal Quest. Why an eternal quest? Well, I originally started this thread as a quest for the Devil Tail, but I changed my mind on questing for the Devil Tail after the release of the Dark Halo (since it can be equipped as a better looking tail, in my opinion) and started questing for a Kitsune Mask, the RJU set, and some of the JU set. Now that that quest is almost complete, I look back on this questing experience and realize that I've met some wonderful people during my quest. Plus, I already have over 2000 pages in this quest. Because of that, I decided that I wanted to keep this thread open to continue to have a place to hang out with the people that I've met. I also hope to meet many more wonderful people in here. What's that? What am I going to quest for next? Who knows? Whatever catches my eye, I guess. Check the "Quest Info" section to find out what I'm currently questing for.

Rules

(Oh, no! Not rules! gonk )

1: No flaming
2: No advertising without my permission (links in your sig are all that are necessary for me to return bumps). (NOTE: Aryah_Jade is the only person that has permission to advertise in my thread.)
3: No begging/asking/demanding me to give/donate gold and/or items (this is a quest thread, which means that I'm trying to save gold to complete my quest)(Do NOT beg me in here, through PM, nor through IM. As a matter of fact, do NOT beg me at ALL.)
4: No begging/asking/demanding others in this thread to give/donate gold and/or items (Do NOT beg ANYONE in that you see in here, through PM, nor through IM. Notice to those that post in here: If someone starts begging you saying that they saw you in my thread, please let me know.)
5: No cybering
6: Follow Gaia's TOS
7: No multipule bumps per post or huge posts stretching the page to insane lengths (it makes loading difficult for people with 56k modems and dial-up connections. Plus, it's just plain annoying to have to scroll across a huge page to click for the next page)
8: Somewhat of a spinoff of the last rule, no "28-gold" bumps/posts (some people seem to think that the bigger their post is, the more gold they can get. This is not, nor has it ever been true).
9: Use proper grammar, not leet or AIM speak (no, you won't get blacklisted if you don't use proper grammar. This is just a request from me)
10: I reserve the right to add/remove/edit rules as I see fit

Monthly Art Contest

(prize change effective as of the month of August) I'll award two (2) Thank You Letters to the first-place winner of the art contest, and one (1) Thank You Letter to the second-place winner.
~THE RULES~
1. While it should be painfully obvious, I still want to say that all entries MUST be drawn and/or colored by the person who enters the art (in other words, you can't have someone else on Gaia draw the picture for you and then enter it. In the same respect, you cannot copy the picture from somewhere on the internet, edit it slightly to make it look like me or Aryah or the both of us, and then enter it in the contest).
2. All entries must use either my avatar, the avatar of Aryah_Jade (my girlfriend), or both of our avatars together.
~**EDIT**~ After thinking about it for a while, I've decided to add two more subjects for the art contests. In addition to my avatar and Aryah_Jade's avatar, I'll also allow art entries using Ecchi Kuroi Neko or Syaoran Min as the subjects. This change will take effect on September 1st, 2007
3. All entries MUST be PMed to me in order to be in the contest. Don't just post the picture in the PM, also send the IMG link (not the URL) using the "Code" button at the top of your post window. Like this:

4. You can enter as many pieces of art as you like, but they MUST be hosted on your own host site during the contests.
5. After each month's contest, Aryah_Jade and I will be allowed to keep and display the art in my/her/our sigs or in my/her/our threads as we please (any art that we use in this way will be saved to our host sites so as to not use up your bandwidth).
6. The winner of the art contest will be decided by a poll held for 24 hours on the first seven (7) days of the following month (from 12:00 noon - 12:00 noon CST)
7. While you can enter all of the contests, whoever wins the monthly art contest will not be eligable to win my other contests in order to allow more people to win my contests.

2. Highest number of bumps in the month:
I'll award a Thank You Letter to the person that has the highest bump count for each month (number your own bumps. If you don't number your bumps, you won't be eligible for the bump contests.). The Thank You Letter will be from the month that the contest was held in. Bump-counts will restart from "bump 1" on the first of every month.
~THE RULES~
1. All bumpers MUST number their own bumps. If you don't number your own bumps, they won't count.
2. While you can enter all of the contests, whoever wins the monthly bumping contest will not be eligable to win my other contests in order to allow more people to win my contests.
3. Do not type "bump" more than once per post. (i.e.: "bumpbumpbumpbump" (ect) is not acceptable)
