Welcome to "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex -Endless Gig <Equinox>". Please read the rules before starting.

RULES
1. No cybering what so ever, if you want to get graphic, take it somewhere else.
2. All made up characters need to make a profile!
3. Romance is accepted.
4. Be literate please? No chat-speak or shortcuts like this: plz, gr8, thx, etc. NO ONE-LINER POSTS!!!
5. No bashing other characters, they are here to enjoy and it is not right if you wreck their experience.
6. No killing other characters UNLESS you have permission from me, and that character.

For all of you who are not too familiar with the Ghost in the Shell Characters

The color their name is typed in is the color of their cybercomm. For example: This is a test. <---That would be Motoko because her name is in Dark blue, meaning whenever you see Dark blue come up in one of my posts, that is Motoko talking via cybercomms.

'Major' Motoko Kusanagi
Section 9's Tactical Commander and second in command, Major Kusanagi suffered from a medical condition which necessitated that her brain be transplanted to a cybernetic body at a very young age. Although her proficiency with the artificial body is highly advanced, she is still haunted by the childhood memories of her own inability to master the more subtle intricacies of its operation - emotions she hides beneath her stoic demeanor.

Batou
The "muscle" behind Section 9 and Major Kusanagi's frequent partner, Batou is a committed and serious agent when engaged in a mission, and a good companion and occasional comedian when he's not. Like most of Section 9's team, Batou possesses a cyberbrain. In addition, he has cybernetically enhanced eyes. When not on duty, Batou spends much of his time exercising in the gym to enhance his considerable physique.

Togusa
With an implanted sub-brain as his only cybernetic augmentation, and a wife and child at home, Togusa is something of an anomaly within the ranks of Section 9 (where most of the staff is at least 50% artificial). Also unlike most of the other agents who were primarily recruited from the military, Togusa was handpicked for employment in Section 9 by Kusanagi from the police department. Adept at investigative work, he often is used to infiltrate suspicious organizations. He also has a penchant for using archaic 20th century firearms.

Saito
Section 9's sharpshooter, Saito is a cool, highly professional specialist practiced in the use of long-range weapons and tactics. He favors the .50 caliber sniper rifle and can use the cybernetic magnification scope hidden in his left eye to uplink with a GPS satellite for additional accuracy.

Ishikawa
The oldest member of Section 9 except for Aramaki, Ishikawa is a cool and composed intelligence agent whose activities seldom require active fieldwork. An accomplished hacker, he spends most of his time quietly gathering information from the net.

Daisuke Aramaki
The wise and powerful Head of Section 9, Aramaki relies upon his many international and corporate contacts to supply his team with the information they need to get the job done. Though he commands a great deal of respect, he is occasionally called "Monkey Man" by his subordinates (perhaps because of his unconventional hairstyle). Seldom directly involved in police actions, he is nonetheless constantly working behind the scenes to coordinate the efforts of his agents, making quick and authoritative decisions and maintaining tight control of Kusanagi.

Tachikoma
There are currently eight Tachikoma model robots in the command of Section 9. These highly maneuverable, spider-like machines possess an advanced Artificial Intelligence which allows them a great degree of autonomous activity. Highly mobile and equipped with numerous helpful devices and weapons, including therm-optic camouflage, the Tachikomas operate as mobile, sentient "Swiss Army knives."

Good...you are online...
Yes Chief....I am, what is it you need?
I've got a mission for you, seems that the T.A.R organization has struck again. This time in an old warehouse that is currently containing a experimental weapon of the government's. I want you to go check it out, take Batou and Togusa if you have to.
Sure thing Chief....it's not like I have anything better to do on my day off...

Motoko's dark crimson colored eyes flickered open to see the the screen of the headset she was wearing. ...Ugh...why are these things so bright?
She mused as she forced herself into a sitting position, and tossed the headset off.
Her eyes scanned the room for several moments letting them adjust to the bright lights of her room, she raised her right hand to her forehead and rubbed it slightly for she did not feel up to the Mission Aramaki had assigned her to.
"Batou better be up...there is no way I'm going to suffer through this alone..." she moaned softly as she pulled the all too familiar black jacket on. It sent chills up her spine, one of the only things that was human...along with her brain, her spinal cord was still intact. Well...as intact as a little piece could get.
After slipping on her gloves, and shoving some bullet clips into her gun, Motoko opened the door and headed out into the hall towards Batou's room.
"Oh Christ....what kind of lame joke is he going to shove in my face this time? Knowing Batou, it will be something about me still having a female prosthetic body..." she murmured and banged one fist up against his door. "Batou? Are you online? ...Get up..."

"....What do you want? I was trying to sleep woman...shesh get a grip..." The very angry and tired Batou moaned as he opened the door to see his female partner.
Telling by the look on her face, Aramaki had called her to give her a Mission, a Mission she needed him on. "Crap....can't you do it alone?" he asked as he pulled his tank top over his head and grabbed his gun. "We gunna get the kid?" Batou asked her as belted his gun to his belt.

"Quit whining....you think I want to work today? I haven't gotten a break in months..." Motoko snapped back as she walked passed Togusa's door. "No, let him rest...he is mostly human and he is still recovering from that gunshot wound to the chest..." A long drawn out sigh escaped her lips as she walked down the hall and into the docking bay for the helicopters and Tachikoma's. "Lets not take the Tachikoma's....they still need to be repaired." she said and hopped into a nearby helicopter and waited.

Batou sighed, "Lucky kid."
After tossing Motoko a headset, Batou climbed up next to her and looked up at Saito, who was currently in the pilot's seat. "You know where to go..." he said and then looked back over to the Major. "Major? How long do you think this thin' will be? I've got things to do..."

"No more than an hour if we do this right..." she replied and pulled the headset off, "It's enough to be annoying though....we've got snipers to worry about..."
She then stood up when the helicopter arrived just above it's destination and threw the side door open. "Let's have the Military owe us another one..." she said and winked at Batou before she turned and made her back face the open door.
Motoko then raised both arms so that they were at the same level as her shoulders and closed her eyes. A few seconds later she leaned backwards and free fell out of the helicopter door.

Batou gritted his teeth as she jumped. "Always have to do it the flashy way..."
He then looked over the edge and shouted, "MOTOKO!!! I told you to be more careful with your life! I'm not gunna scrape your guts off the pavement!"

Motoko heard every word and smiled as she spun around in a 360 fashion before she slammed down on the ground on her feet.

And I told you not to call me by my real name.... Don't worry, you won't have to scrape my 'guts' off the pavement Batou...

She then loaded her gun and waited for him to arrive. This is going to be easy...

Bio: she suffered from a madman's attack in her childhood, that they had to give her implants. She is very efficient at her job and is strangely cheerful about the things she does

Race: human with cybernetic implants in the hands and legs.

( ok, I have only seen the movie, but that was 3 or 4 years ago so tell me if i got anything wrong...)

Batou cursed under his breath as he climbed the fire exit ladder off the building Motoko was standing on. "....Where do we start?" he asked and looked around for a moment.

Motoko sighed and closed her eyes for a moment. "Let's wait a second....I believe that Tsukiko might be coming..." She then opened her eyes again and looked over at Batou. "Since when you so concerned about what I do anyway?" she asked and raised an eyebrow.
