Chances are pretty good that I won't have any objections to someone just dropping by unannounced, but I might be in the middle of something that I don't want interrupted. Personality:Tyzz is rather shy and timid, though insufferably curious and nosy. He tends to get startled easily, and has a bad habit of freezing when something scares him, rather than acting to figure things out. He doesn't like it when other people can do something that he can't, and seems very much concerned about who is 'better' than someone else. He loves showing off what he can do, but he never really tries to learn any talents. He has a certain amount of undeserved ego, and a severe distaste for anyone that can one-up him. Tyzz has grown rather attached to Bard, and seems to be unfavorable of anyone that takes the musician's attention away from him- especially those of the female variety, who for whatever reason seem to make up the greater part of Bard's friends. He likes having people around him, and adores the spotlight; very rarely, however, does he consciously try to earn it.

Background: Give it a bit for him to get a background before asking 'bout it, why doncha?!

Appearence: Bard is the sort of man with a slim build, kind smile, and mysterious aura. The first thing to leap to mind about his appearence is in the scarf that is always wrapped about his eyes, marking him as blind. Not that you'd ever realize his handicap without it; he always walks and acts with a remarkable confidence, never seeming uncertain about his footing and somehow always knowing precisely where it is he is going. His hair, a pale gold in color, is normally pulled back into a tight ponytail; when let loose, it curves gently around his shoulders. He wears the extravagent clothing of one who entertains for a living, and all of it very medieval in nature; vibrant colors, sometimes accompanied by a worn cloak of deep green, and always with several instrument cases upon his person. Among these are a fiddle, a lap-harp, a flute, and his lute. Despite his medieval upbringing, Bard refuses to carry any weapons upon him, save for a small hunting knife at his belt. He typically wears two silver hoops in the tip of his left ear, which one might note is gently tapered in the style of one of mixed elven blood.

Background: Bard moved to Gaia on April the second, of the year two-thousand and four. He did not come alone, but rather moved to this world with a friend called Arrien. The two of them shared a small apartment for a few weeks, before Bard's musical career began to hit it off; once he began to make money, he went out on his own, getting a posh little place on the second story of a coffee shop in Barton Town's downtown. He lives quite comfortably on his own, making a living by three weekly gigs and street performances.

Before Gaia, however, Bard's life was not so peaceful. In the world from which he came, he had first been locked away by old magicks, for a reason and cause he could not remember- his blindness was given to him by these magicks, his memory stolen, and the all-encompassing Laws which dictate what he may and may not do, even to this day, set upon him. Eventually, he escaped his prison, through no true fault of his own; but he was then declared a heretic for his own magicks, an affront to the Gods that rule the hearts and souls of the people. His life was in constant danger from the clergy of the lands, though he had never done anyone any harm. It's uncertain how he had dealt with this threat for the years he walked free upon that earth, but there came the day when he crossed paths with a wandering adventurer. And that adventurer was none other than the Infamous Jack-of-all-Trades, Arrien, who then took him from that world and brought him with her to the safety of Gaia. It is little surprise, then, the absolute loyalty that he pledges to his friend.

Bard and Tyzz live in a small (but posh) place, located above a coffee shop in downtown Barton Town. Everything about this place is neat and tidy- everything has a place, and, none too surprisingly, everything is expected to be where it belongs. Those who fail to replace something where they got it might well find themselves never invited back, for his home is the only place Bard is willing to walk without his area detection spells, and anything out of place is extremely disconcerting to him.

???: Bard's mother. He has precious few memories of an ancient life... and she is the only one memory that he absolutely refuses to surrender to the darkness within his mind. A woman of infinite beauty, a skilled weaver and seamstress, whose laughter was to his ears as music has become to his soul... he does not remember anything about her, save for a sole scene of her sitting at her loom, singing through her laughter and speaking in a language he can no longer understand. He professes to be content with that small quip of his former life... but it is difficult to believe that such a thing could be true.

Arrien: Before anyone, before anything, Arrien is the first person that Bard calls a friend. He views the other delicately, seeing her for her faults and her strengths, wholly accepting of everything that she is, was, and might someday be. She earned his ultimate respect by rescuing him from his world; in return, he acts much as a voice of reason for her, constantly advising her and gently pushing her in the right direction of what he thinks will bring her happiness. Tyzz doesn't really like the Jack-of-all-Trades, but (though he'll never admit it) is a bit too scared of her to do anything about it.

Fenrir: Well, they aren't really friends... but they are't really not.

Symphonie: Tyzz is extremely cautious of the zombie. Not scared... but extremely wary. Somehow, Bad Things seem to happen around her. Actually, they're mostly her fault, aren't they?

Everand: They didn't meet for long, but Tyzz decidedly likes the man. He seems nice, fairly quiet, and not at all pushy or threatening like some people he could mention.

Imrine: Tyzz does not like this girl. Not at all. She made him look bad in front of Bard, and that's practically high treason.
Antoni: Probably Tyzz's best friend, really. Ani and Tyzz are rough with each other, and do that entire "boys will be boys" shtick... but when things get rough, you know that they'll look out for each other. Assuming they aren't in the middle of a spat.
Querna: Probably the closest Tyzz has ever come to liking someone of the female persuasion. 'Nuff said.

This creature, called a Peski, was given to Bard by Arrien to keep him company. It's cute enough... doesn't eat a lot... it's a bit timid, though friendly enough once it warms up to you. Bard ambiguously named it "Drelk", not being sure enough of its gender to give it a more flattering name than that.

Ahh, aye. This picture doth display Tyzz as he wast, when first we crossed paths. Little more than a blob, wast he... he didst little more than sit about motionlessly, unless given the proper motivation (and, by 'motivation', I of course refer to little Fenrir).

I know little of how he didst appear, though I wast told that his coloring had changed somewhat, and that he didst acquire a lucky clover. What I do knoweth, however, is that his personality beganst its emergance at this point, as he didst becometh more and more interactive with the world around him.

After an unfortunate encounter with an electrical outlet, Tyzz transformed into a six-inch-tall boy. I recall that he becameth depressed for a long while after this transformation, pining for his blobbish ways... ere long, however, he didst come to accepteth the limitations and advantages of his new form.

This picture beth from the Halloween Party of the year 2005. M'lady Arrien didst assist in finding a costume for him... she didst say 'twas from "Neko o Ongaeshi", and though I hath not the faintest what that beth, I wast assured Tyzz looked quite dapper. He didst complain at first, but later grew to enjoy the costume... especially when he didst find that it geteth him candy.
