Fake Kat has written a pledge for questors, and ideal for questing, a promise for all to read and hopefully take to heart. She hopes it helps quell those who continually abandon their quests for small and various reasons, such as being unable to save gold with new items in shops, etc. We hate to say it, but the number of abandoned quests has gone way up recently. For every quest completed, we find 5 abandoned. Our tally comes up when we do a Major Update. So, read the pledge, post it in your thread (be sure to place Fake Kat's name as the writer in case anyone wishes to PM her with any changes to it), but try, please try, to keep to the guidelines in order to finish your quest.
To be listed here, you must have the following:
1.) Your own topic. Doesn't matter if its in Chatterbox, in your shop in the Exchange, or in the Charity Section. Give me the link, or point it out in your sig. I've had people think they can use this thread to start their quests, or just not link me thinking I can magically get their link. I am not going to search for your links.
2.) Mention the item you're questing for!! Yes, people have submitted quests to me for items...and never name the items!
3.) Make sure to mention how much gold/items you have towards your quest! ~Find A Quest~ is not aiding you only in getting donations and bumps, but also trying to help find you someone willing to sell the item. Show them your offer!!!!

Fake Kat's Pledge of the Questers
We, the Questors of Gaia, are on a set path for an item(s). We choose to work specifically for this goal, and no other. We will not spend nor donate our gold till our own quest is complete. We shall not accept gold from other Questors. When we are not questing, or have finished our quest(s) we shall donate to other Questors so they may also complete their quests. This is our pledge, and our promise. We shall not give up.

Ok, so you ask, "Why are you creating this? Whats it all about?"
I am making this so people can search quests easier. Perhaps you are willing to sell an item thats commonly quested for...like Angelic Minis. You can look here for the top buyer, instead of searching through all the quests.
And if you're a questor? Well, how annoying do you find it that your topic gets covered over by everyone elses' when you (or any bumpers you might have) can't be around. This is your solution! Its free, and I'm hoping to gain the support to keep it on the first page as much as possible.
You may even be a person who wants to donate, but you don't know what quest to donate for...just look here, through the list. Donators may have once quested too! And they may feel sympathetic enough to donate to a quest they once completed themselves! You never know... To add my own little spheal to this... Also, as a questor on Gaia I saw ~Find a Quest~ as a great instution and wanted to keep it that way! Let's show Gaia that the people of the Charity and Quest fourm are the nicest on the site!

~Rules and Notes~
1.) Flaming is not allowed. (Duh.)
2.) Bumps are very much welcome.
3.) This is not a quest, but a list of them, so donations are not needed.
4.)If you submit a Quest and then complete it, be sure to let me know so I can take you off the list and place you in the "Completed Quests" section.
5.) You must have a Quest thread to be listed here! Don't ask me to list you unless you provide a link via post or sig. I am not going to search through your posts to find your quest, it would slow the updates, and they come in faster every day, so its unfair to others to make the updates slow.
6.) Don't give me your friend's quest and tell me to link it, the owner of the thread must give me the permission to link it, because the quest belongs to them.
7.) There is a 5 day period in which if no bumps are on your topic, its removed from the link list. This keeps the list from getting cluttered by abandoned quests or lost quests. We're not a bumping agency, though we may bump, thats our own free choice and not our job. (We will not warn you of your removal from ~Find A Quest~ since that would take too long. You'd be surprised how many people abandon their quests.)
8.) Though I may accept quests that are located in the Charity forum, that doesn't mean you can be a charity case and listed here. Have an offer! No matter how low! A quest is starting somewhere to end up with the prize at the end. Though you might get help along the way, the main job lies with you. Don't be dependent on donations.
9.) Do not sell items in this thread! Doing so will have me report you to the mods. This forum is for Wanted/Quests, meaning the only advertisements here are by buyers. This thread isn't even used for people to post what they are questing for, I just link them. Go to the Exchange and make your own thread if you want to sell something.
10.) Don't ask for gold, this is not a donation agency!!!!! Go to charity for that.
11.) Don't ask for items! I'm not selling any, and I forbid selling on this thread, it will be considered spam/advertising in the wrong place and reported to a mod.
12.) Bumps are appreciated, really. But you don't need to stretch the screen left to right or top to bottom when bumping. I will contact a mod from now on to remove such bumps. I know you have good intentions, but think of the annoyance it causes others. Especially when I have to look left right, top bottom around an annoying post to collect links and stuff.
13.) If I took you off the list in believing you abandoned your quest but you didn't, merely re-submit your link and make sure it was bumped, and I will link it once more.
14.) When submitting a quest, please don't code it. I'm not looking for just something to copy and paste, I need an actual link to click and a thread to go to so I can check it out for myself before posting it. I will copy from the address bar once satisfied or tell you about why I may not accept it.
15.) When asking to be linked, please be specific! Asking for help will only lead me to believe you're looking for gold and/or free items. Request getting on the list so I know that you know what you're asking for.
16.)This muleis not equipted with a trading pass/ vend licence. Any and all gold generated by the mule will first go to buying it a nice outfit, then, maybe we'll work something out with different charities! ^_^
17.)I'm sorry to announce that we will not link single item quest for items under 5k. (AKA; Mini-Quest) It's just too much of a hassle!
Remember! This can only grow with you submitting your quests for linkage. I will not go around randomly picking out quests without permission, so help this thread grow and be useful to others!
