Story
The city of Durem, long held as the fashion center of Gaia, hides a dark secret: the biggest crime underground in all of Gaia. Many groups struggle to take control. From petty criminals, to old family mafias, to street gangs, all of them pay for their respect in blood. There is honor among thieves to a point. After that...you're on your own.

Rules: Be considerate
1. Gaia rules apply, obviously.

2. Fighting is a fact of life, and killing will happen, but it must be discussed and agreed apon without my intervention. If I am forced to intervene, it will be a sudden death and I choose who wins based on creativity.

3. Absolutely no cybering, take it outside of my thread...preferably to some crappy Naruto thread. Get one of them banned, God only knows another one will pop up.

4. Cursing. This thread is based on crime, and criminals cuss. I'm not fscing going to sugarcoat this sh1t. I just Fscking ask you change a letter to make it more preteen friendly. If you fsck up...well, Sh1t happens.

5. NO EMO. I dont want to hear it, I dont want to see it. I dont have the time nor inclination to deal with your broken heart and slit wrists. DO NOT MISTAKE ANGST FOR CREATIVITY

6. Be creative. If I can guess the anime you're basing your character on I'm going to ask you to fix it. I'm tired of people playing their version of Alucard, Naruto, or one of the various others. Please try and be original. That's not to say you can't pull on your favorite character for inspiration. But I don't want to see a guy with a red kimono, claws, fangs, white hair, who happens to be half demon, super fast and strong. Just be different.

7. On the demon note: this will annoy people but I'm asking you to do this for creative reasons. HUMAN CHARACTERS ONLY. Now, I will say that realistic boundries will obviously be crossed...once in a while...but no magic, no super powers. Humans are impressive creatures in their own right, so try and RP one for a change.

8. Don't be a noob. Newbishness is fine if you're a begginer; we'll gladly help you learn and grow as a RPer...but don't post stupid stuff. And please remember the difference between ((OOC)) and IC

9. I am the final authority in this thread. With the exception of the mods, my word goes. Frankly, I don't intend to use it unless I have to...I want everyone to have fun here. So try and get along; be groovy and stuff; and things will be cool. But if I ask you to leave or fix something, or to just to be less of a godmoder, then do it. Speaking of which... NO GODMODING or any of that other stuff. If you have a comment or concern, PM me, I'll sort it out. And with that my power trip is over.

Groups
Feel free to sort yourself out as you like, into whatever group calls to you. Join one of the premade one's, make your own, or lone-wolf it. Make and break alliances, seek revenge, or just try to survive...it's up to you! If you control a group, that group's members and ranks are you're concern...meaning, if you have a mafia, you run it.
