It is the year 1191, during the Third Crusade.
Richard the Lionheart has just recaptured the port city of Acre from occupying Muslims. With a base of operations established, the Crusaders prepare to march south. Their true target is Jerusalem--however, Saladin, leader of the Islamic army, currently rules the city. Stinging from his army’s defeat at Acre, he will not allow Richard to humiliate him again. The Muslim forces are massing in the ruins of Arsuf, intending to ambush the Crusaders and prevent them from reaching Jerusalem. These war maneuvers have left the rest of the Holy Land wide open. Exploitation, manipulation, and provocation rule the day.
You are an assassin, and it is your duty to kill for the greater good-- however, strange things have been happening... and is it suspected that there is an underlying conspiracy within the Assassin's Order itself. By discoving the evil secrets within, perhaps you will be the one to create a new era of peace.
If you are an Assassin, your rank will be judged by your RPing ability (How much effort you put into your RP posts.)
The Ranks are: 1-10, the higher your RPing ability, the higher your rank number, which the Captain or Vice-Captain will decide for you after you make a few RP posts.
Rules:
1) No lewd content.
2) Romance up to a PG-13 level is allowed.
3) No extreme swearing ("Hell" and "damn" are fine, but nothing beyond that).
4) Post as often as you can, preferably 2-3 posts a week, but if you don't have time, just do as many as your schedule allows you.
5)No god-modding or buddy-killing (You can't force others to do something they don't want to, nor can you kill other guild members, but you can fight them).
6) All RP posts must be in past-tense. For example, you CANNOT post like: "Altair sees the guard and walks over."
However, you CAN post like: "Altair saw the guard and walked over." This post is in past tense and it also is easier to understand.
