Welcome to Super Robot Wars (Taisen in Japanese) Roleplaying Guild! Before you request to join the Super Robot Wars RP, be sure to follow rules and prerequisites in order to sign up. This following procedures are very important before you even sign up to be the pilot of the robot from the greatest series in Japan!
What is Super Robot Wars?
- Super Robot Wars is actually called Super Robot Taisen in Japan, where robots from other animation series join together to save the world. Created by the company Banpresto, Super Robot Taisen was first created in 1991 for NES through 2nd Super Robot Taisen, 3rd, 4th, EX, F, Neo, then later Playstation series known as MX, Alpha, Impact. One of the famous and popular Super Robot Taisen series was Alpha which had an extreme plot lines and intense battle systems. Not only Alpha had a special type of plot line, but it had a lot of focus on original characters. Due to popularity of original characters from each Super Robot Taisen series, Banpresto gathered all original characters into one series calling it Super Robot Taisen Original Generation.
What is the focus of this guild?
- Good Question. The focus of this guild is to basically know the knowledge of the Super Robot Taisen Original Generation series (which has been released in United States, or even look up online to watch fan subbed anime - called Super Robot Wars Original Generation "Divine Wars" wink , and even know the knowledge of other super robot series such as GaoGaiGar, Big O, RahXephon, Evangelion, Mazinger Z, Getter Robo, and real robots such as Gundam, Macross (Robotech), Nadesico. With these knowledge you have, we'll roleplay the series with certain character and focus on each story line.
Is it ONLY going to be Super Robot Wars RP?
- No, there will be other RP such as making it called SD Gundam GGeneration Series. Which will be only Gundam series focused, but we'll also have Super Robot Taisen Original Generation characters mixed in it.
When I sign up for a character, what if it's taken?
- You can try other character, there are other characters you can take. If there are only villains, then sorry. But there are some cool villains you can take if you want to. If all character slots are taken for instance, including villains... then you have to wait until the RP is reset.
How long would it be reset?
- Depends. If the series is inactive with people being missing in action for more than 2-3 weeks, the mods remove the person's position and you can fill in, otherwise you have to wait. It takes time and it might take a year to finish RP. But always expect a spot to be opened.
How can I earn this slot?
- If the player is acting like an idiot, trolling, god modding, talking inappropriate contents, or not even following up his/her role, then we remove that player from the slot. Even if he/she is inactive for 2-3 weeks without any notice, we remove the person off the slot. Even we might remove him/her 1 week only if his/her role is VERY important.
Ok I am interested. How do I sign up?
- Your job is to write a description about your character role that's from Super Robot Taisen series. MUST BE A CHARACTER FROM ORIGINAL GENERATION. Describe it accurately. His/Her Personality is VERY important too and what he/she pilots as a robot. You can also later fill in other information such as you know the series of Gundam Seed by heart something like that and I'll take a note of that.
What if I don't know Original Generation?
- It's pretty simple. Download the roms of Original Generation and Original Generation 2 for Gameboy Advance in English. (Yes, US version is out. Both of them.). Otherwise watch the anime called Super Robot Wars Original Generation -Divine Wars- which is being aired in Japan, but it's being fansubbed. You can also buy two games from the shops. If you know Super Robot Wars and played previous games and know those original characters, then you may pass. But you have to be accurate on that as well.
BY THE WAY, WHEN YOU DO PLAY SRW OG for GAMEBOY, DON'T SKIP CONVERSATIONS BECAUSE THEY HELP YOU TO UNDERSTAND CHARACTERS AND PLOTS BETTER.
Now... to the actual rule.
Rules Before Signing Up
1) According to the rules of Gaia, we are to follow every rules of Gaia asks.
2) This guild is PG-13. Gore and violence is allowed, but however, sex - or any other category of sex is not allowed. Kissing, hugging, marrying is allowed however. If you want sex that desperately deal it in PMs. I am not interested in reading your privacies! -_-;;
3) By any means, flaming another person, sexual abuse, harassing or threatening, personal insults will be permanantely removed from the guild. We do not accept someone who brings up personal insults.
4) There are a lot of God Modders, and sometimes because they are villain, or main character or they have characters that has to survive and don't want them to die, there are reasons. God Mods are not allowed, however sometimes, it will be understood.
5) Speaking of God Mod, there will be no absolutely random god mod post. I.E. "John Doe appears and stabs them all and kills them and disappears and never comes back.". There will be penalties.
6) GRAMMAR/SPELLING WISE If there is some grammar problem, you will be instructed to fix it. However, Grammar is easy going, so it will be forgiven at times. "Im not a child" is a grammar error, so it must be fixed as "I'm not a child" or "I am not a child". Even "Why you attack me?" is an error , and to be fixed as "Why did you attack me?". Other than those kind of errors, are forgiven such as fragment/run-ons. SPELLING is NO excuse. If you make spelling mistake, FIX it. Like such as "Conspeiracy" is NOT a word. "Conspiracy" is the correct spelling. Even "made" when you are describing the word "mad" MUST be corrected. If you can't even fix your spelling, I'll suppose that you never went to school and learned how to speak English. I've known English for 9 years even though I am Korean, at least I know which spelling is correct and wrong.
7) 1337 Talk = EVIL. If you do something like "I used 2 walk 2 town and kill goblins 4 my mother" or even "wtf" "g2g" "lol" "lmao" terms, ANY ACRONYM RELATED TO INTERNET, will be deleted in 48 hours. So if you do something like that FIX IT. - First to Second Offense is Warning and Third will be suspension, and Sixth Warning is Permanent Removal.
8 ) One Sentence post will be considered as a spam and it will be deleted and you'll be warned. Second offense is double warning , third will be suspension from the guild. - IT MUST BE AT LEAST 3-5 Sentences! -
9) If you follow these procedures, you are welcomed to join.
What if I am in other guilds which are roleplaying?
-There are many players that are in more than 1-2 roleplaying guilds, and it is understandable. If you want to join this guild with other RP guilds, that is no problem for me. =) You are freely welcomed to join this guild.
How to Join
-Easy. First, you need to read the rules above, and then request to roleplay. Be reasonable when you join. This is a serious roleplaying, so you must show your performance. (If you are showing your roleplay performance, it has to be Third Person). Requests will be approved only if there are people who are giving out good reasons as a roleplayer and why they want to join.
-If you were banned for any reason or been prohibited from posting in the guild, and you want to join back again, you will have to write three paragraph Essay why you should deserve to come back. I am a reasonable person before I ban people. So I wouldnt do that. wink
-If you were banned/booted for being inactive, talk to me why you were inactive. No need for 3 paragraph Essay and I'll reinvite you if you could remind again.

Participation Rules
-The last thing I will mention about is Participation rules. There is a rule about absence/activation. Absence with notification will be remaining in the guild. However Absence without notification will have their membership and at least come back to become active or remind for absence in 30 days. After 30 days without notification, you will be removed.
-Also , if you cannot handle these rules, or have bad attitude of flaming people, bad habit of talking about nasty censored words such as sex etc, or even have problems with moderators, then this guild is not for you. All moderators are assigned to those who are very mature and is reasonable to listen to members. If you were removed from them, then there was some reason.
