Roanör, a country torn. To the north the dark mountains of Queros' Nordor separate the realm of the elves from that of mortal men. The southern reigon is where the humans reside. They are rulled by the traitor Silaedron, who is weak willed and guided by Koranis.

Darkness approaches. The once relatively peaceful country has become the battle grounds of the gods who use their mortal and immortal children to do their bidding. The evil creatures that have lain dormant in their nether worlds have risen; and men who are no longer as loyal to their immortal king have banded together in an alliance, determined to dethrone him and return Roanör to its former glory.
