Welcome to Azara Academy! I suppose you'd like to know our backstory, before anything else. When the world tore apart, allowing monsters and demons from the Land of Shadows to plague the world, destroying cities and lives, as well as anything that stood in their way. The adults were slaughtered, leaving only the teens to fight back and protect the remaining children. This rebellion was lead by Azara, who then built up this academy to defend themselves from the monsters rampaging outside its stone walls.

Two years later, even their rebellion was defeated. The teens were executed in front of all the children, as a way of showing what would happen if they too, were to rebel. The monsters abandoned Azara Academy, leaving all the children there. But even in death, nothing could stop Azara from defending his academy. His adopted brother, Josh Azure, was the first one to be enrolled after the school was brought back.

Josh Azure soon discovered his abilities in electrical magic. Soon after, it became imperative that the other children and young teens learn how to use their abilities as well, to protect them from the monsters, who may be catching wind of this new rebellion. With the assistance of a demon wolf named Akira Okami, the academy was brought back up into total functionality.

Nowadays, Josh Azure runs the academy to train the children (some of which are now becoming teens) to defend themselves against the monsters lurking outside the academy. The territory outside is barren, the only life being the monsters who are aching to unleash havoc once more. With Josh doing the major administrative duties, and Akira serving as the main source of information against the monsters, Azara Academy is the only stronghold for any species wanting to survive this new onslaught.
