When Adam and Eve have descended to Earth for their sins, the population of humans had flourished into a healthy amount. Years later, after the death of Christ, the skies of the Heavens flared red and Hell had erupted through the tips of volcanoes; both sides have disagreed with each other on how to run the Earth. Angelic ash had rained down upon Earth in order to defend from the children that have been sprouted from the fire and brimstones of Hell that was trying to replace the people’s sins. In result, Hell had been forced into an eternal dormant existence of the Underworld due to major casualties that happened in this 1,000 year war. Lucifer, once more, was sent back to charcoal pits of Hell. Though, the children of Lucifer had not a clue where to reside, after being forcefully torn away from the humans that their spiritual selves had once lived in. Slowly, their amorphous, spirited body began to solidify, in resemblance of God’s creation as if in mockery; a human body shape. Since they now had a conscious, within their solidified body, perhaps there was a chance for forgiveness. But then, there was chance that they may revolt once more. God then had sentenced all Cursed Bloods to Hell; never have the chance to redeem themselves so that they can grace the Heavens. There was no way to risk the lives of humans again. In result, their once omnipotent existence that was once recognized as terrifying and despicable; their powers began to fade away, more, and more, and more. In the end, a vast majority had similar powers taken, and some untaken. However, this caused the separation of Hell’s only proof of existence that waltzed the Earth. Only four powers remained, and one Cursed would have a certain set of two powers, and another would have a different set. To prevent confusion when it came to treating sickness, they have come to call those who had their Necromancy and shadow powers to still call them Cursed Bloods. But those who have lost their Necromancy and shadow powers but still had their Elemental and Psychic powers were to be called Demented Bloods. After figuring out how to calm down the massive decrease in powers, the society felt more at ease. However, the worries did not stop there. What had really crossed the border this time was when a Demented Blood and Cursed Blood had interbred and conceived a child. Terrible visions had struck the village regarding the couple, and more premonitions had struck the village elder, who was the only one who still had the power of foresight.

”A disease will spread if a Cursed and a Demented come together, and in result of the disease, the Demented Blood will die. But, if a rather large amount of Demented Bloods survives, they will be given a Promised Place by God, for they no longer have the powers of Evil that can oppose Him. But … if a Cursed Blood and Demented Blood come together and conceive a child that is both, half Cursed Blood and Demented Blood, then that very child will eliminate the hopes that Demented Bloods will go to Heaven.”

Upon hearing this, the people of Cursed Bloods and Demented Bloods was thrown into confusion, havoc, and bigotry. Upon accusing Demented Bloods, the majority of the Cursed Bloods protested that it wasn't fair that the Demented Bloods was able to go to Heaven, and yet, they were stuck with the same fate that God had given them. Didn't that mean God was favoring people? However, most of Demented Bloods argued that it wasn't fair that Lucifer will accept them with open arms just because their original powers remained. It was their chance to redeem themselves as now, concious beings, and might as well take it. It wasn't their fault that they were favored by God Himself. Crime and racism quickly accumulated between the two races. Hate grew to bigotry, that grew to violence, that grew to war. Ultimately, the Demented Bloods and Cursed Bloods parted ways, for numerous reasons that arose from the prophecy. For the Demented Bloods, it was the reasons of becoming ill once interbred or living with the Cursed Bloods. Since it's such a devastating epidemic, might as well go forth and search for their Promised Place. As for the Cursed Bloods, their reason was that they couldn't tolerate the abuse any longer, since very few of them still have the powers of the Shadow and Necromancy, which meant that it was very easy to get ganged up upon. But even though they parted for their safety, even more grudges were instilled from the Demented Bloods; They declared a war of genocide for forgiveness. And so, the battle is on, for the Promised Place ... For safety, for repentence. For death, and for life. A war in order to bask in favor of the eyes of God or in the eyes of Lucifer. What is righteousness? What is a utopia? What are the "right" beliefs?
