All Might is dead - Trading his life for the safety of the world in his battle against One for All, he paid the ultimate price. With the Symbol of Peace gone, the world's villains were largely undeterred. Countries around the world saw a huge uptick in crime, and 'Hero Academies' were formed across the globe to help combat these new threats.

The Northern European Hero Core Training College is one such academy. Located in the Netherlands, the NEHCTC is the premier hero academy in Europe, where only B-Class Hero Applicants and above may attend.
