About the guild: The Literate Role Play Guild is a group of people that enjoy role playing in 3rd person literate threads that are free of asterixes and unwanted 1337-slang. We have anime-based, fantasy-based, novel-based, and commerce role play threads. We are always looking to expand our membership and forums, and we are anxious to add more unique role play threads. Threads are moderated by their creators; all threads in the guild are thus different from one another.

Anyone who is literate is allowed to join! In your join request please write a little bio about yourself in 3rd person (see the sample below). Also, below that, please state the kind of RP threads you'd like to see here, and whether you are interested in moderating one of them. Before joining, also note the 500 gold entry fee; please no complaints about the fee. It is intended to keep out those who are not serious. Anyone who complains about the fee will be banned.

Anri walked into the crowded room apprehensively. As the door creaked shut behind her, she was cast many strange glances. She shook her head in an attempt to hide her unique ears behind her long blonde hair. Very few people understood her, a robotic female with a human heart. She never needed to sleep or eat, but she could taste foods and beverages. She was particularly fond of the taste of wine. A craving for such had prompted her visit to the shady bar, which she now regretted. She took a seat on a bar stool and waited anxiously for the bartender to take her order. All she wanted was a glass of red wine to clear her head. She had been given a daunting task by her owner, and despite her less than human mind, she felt a pang of nervousness in her heart. As the sinister looking bartender approached she felt another wave of apprehension washed over her. I shouldn't have come here... she told herself, as suddenly she felt a hand reach up her skirt, and everything went dark.


You're a good candidate for the guild if:
--You enjoy RPing but are tired of semi-literate threads.
--You have a literate RP thread that you would like to move to a more private venue to keep out n00bs.
--You are a writer, and you want to improve your writing skills.
--You are a lurker and just want a fun place to read.
--You have a good grasp on the English language and want to try something new on Gaia.
There are many other reasons you may want to join the guild; these are just a few!

Note: If you would like to join so you can move your current RP into a private venue, please PM me with a link to your current RP. If it is deemed acceptable you will recieve immediate mod status so that you can invite all current members of your RP to the guild.
