About the Therian Souls Guild
This is a guild for the Therians and Otherkin on Gaia, a place for us to gather and discuss the nature and exploration of our spiritual selves. This is for serious Therians and Otherkin, people who (in real life) have a nature that goes beyond the bounds of traditional human expectations: Those who hold within the spirit of a non-human animal, or have an understanding or kinship with a particular animal spirit or totem guide. This could take the form of soul reincarnation, true soulform, spiritual guides, or a feeling of connection that's so strong as to be undeniable. If you feel like you might fit into this group, or are looking to learn more about Therianthropy and the nature of being Otherkin, you are welcome here. If you simply like animals and enjoy going around wearing furry ears and tails, but don't believe you are, inherently, a non-human animal, please go see one of the Furry or Furre guilds. This is more of a philosophical guild than a cosplay one.

Needless to say, understanding and an open mind are a must here, and persecution and prejudice will not be tolerated. This is a supportive community for Therians and Otherkin to discuss their non-human natures and experiences without fear of being called crazy. (And if you think we are, please slowly back away and then turn around and walk off.) We are not a clan of crazies, do not promote bestiality, and we aren't going to physically turn into some rabid animal and howl at the full moon. (Well, probably not, anyway; we're spiritual therianthropes, not theriomorphs.)

What We Have to Offer:
Much of the TSG focuses on Therianthropy and Otherkin, with discussions, FAQs, and advice. As we grow, we'll also have a place for member art shops & art request threads. We have a place for laid back chatting too, of course.

In addition to our Therian & Otherkin related forums, we have three subforums for roleplaying. These roleplays will focus mainly on anthropomorphic and sentient animals, with rare spots for humans if the main characters live in the same world as them. The official TSG roleplays are "Legends of Tiir" and "Kaliomira," and will be a chance for us to break from our human skins for a while. (Kaliomira will be attached to a Breedables shop later this year.) The third RP subforum contains member-created RPs.

You must be an open-minded individual to join, and be either Therian, Otherkin, or think you may have an inherently non-human nature. If you're unsure you're perfectly welcome to stop in to learn a bit more about this. You can PM inquiries about the Guild to this SN: Therian_Souls_Guild.
