This guild has two main purposes.

The first is to provide a somewhat educated and friendly environment to discuss our daily lives and everything in it. That may sound a bit confusing, or maybe too vague, but that really is why this guild was created. This guild is not a debate guild so much as a discussion guild; a place for people to teach and learn from each other while making supportive friendships. In a way it's sort of the antithesis of the Extended Discussion in that the members of this guild are not trying to prove each other wrong, but trying to build upon ideas and maybe open up our minds to brand new concepts. (Note that this does not mean anybody needs to conform to anyone else's ideas. Open mindedness is not the same as unquestioning acceptance, or embracing the idea yourself!)

The second purpose of this guild is just to allow people to make friends! There are several forums focused on things like music, books, movies, art and writing, and even role-playing.

If you are looking for a fun and literate guild where intelligent chats and supportive friends come hand in hand, this is the guild for you.

Disclaimer: Even though a big part of this guild is based on supporting each other and seeing from other peoples' points of view, it's obvious not everybody will end up being friends. That's perfectly fine! All that's required from you is respect! (And literacy, of course.) Any antagonists will get a warning, then a banning.
