But this story does not revolve around God and the most glorious forge wherein the Earth was forged. Rather, it shalt deal with the most horrendous battle between the Children of the Tentacle, and the Children of God. To do so, we shall jump ahead eight God-days."



So begins the story of the valiant souls who put lives and limbs on the line in the defense of mankind. Those who survive their first brushes with the Dark Forces of the world, who live to pass on their wisdom to younger, more vulnerable generations are given a name.

That name is Monster Slayer.

The MSU is a paramillitary organization tasked with the defense of mankind and the unmitigated slaughter of Monster-Kind. Within reside the most hallowed, or at the very least the most skilled Slayers of Monsters to roam the world, and those dedicated souls who upkeep equipment, morale and their coffee pots.
