Here's what it is: This guild is where Gaian Roleplayers can nominate others, be nominated, vote and win awards for accomplishments in the Gaian RP community. This is just for fun, so don't take it too seriously. All nominees and winners will be chosen based on your votes, so winners will be based upon a majority vote, not a judge's decision. All kinds are welcome, not just comic roleplayers.Note: You don't have to be a roleplayer to join, nominate and vote. However you do have to be a member to do all those things!
Here's how it works: There will be one contest at a time, with a different theme with each new contest. First, I will post a thread asking members to nominate people for the contest. Everything will be out in the open, so there will be no way for me to fabricate nominations or anything like that. More specific guidelines for this will be posted in the nomination thread.
After we have enough nominations, I will put them all in a poll in a voting thread where you can also discuss who you voted for and why, et cetera et cetera.The nominee with the most votes will win a lovely banner to display on their profile forever and ever!
Rules:
1. No flaming. If someone is nominated don't be like "they suck". This is for fun, and for people to feel good that they've accomplished something doing something that they enjoy.
2. Don't nominate yourself on a mule, you jerks! Chances are I know who your mules are, and if it slips past me, hopefully someone will inform me. If I find out that you have violated this rule, you will get a stern warning and if you do it again you will be blacklisted.
3. Bribing for nominations is also against the rules...if someone asks you to do this, tell them NO! The most deserving person should win, not the person with the most gold to waste.
I realize that it will probably take a little while to get this rolling, so it would be great if you guys could help out by voting, nominating and giving me ideas for new contests!
