Long ago humans and supernatural beings lived together in peace, however the peace could not last forever. The humans grew jealous of the abilities and live spans of supernatural beings and began hunting them, thinking their hearts could grant them long life. Some wanted to use the bones or horns for potions and elixirs. However some races thought the humans were beneath them, that the lesser beings should serve them. Other races should also bow before them and they rule over all. As the years past the conflict only grew worse, day after day cities were being destroyed and the death count was growing. A council was called to try defusing the situation once and for all. However meeting after meeting did not solve the fighting. It was decided that the supernaturals would leave the human world, create a veil between their world and the human's, thus ended the war between the humans and supernaturals. To help with the fighting amongst the races the veil lands were sectioned off into territories. Some beings stayed behind in secret, knowing the earth could not survive without magic.

Centuries passed and the humans forgot the supernatural beings even existed, they were cast off as legends and stories and all was right with the world. However the veil grew weaker, the spell was weakening and the seal around the artifacts that kept it sealed was fading. Humans began finding them and putting the in museums, not knowing what would happen when all seven were brought together. The year came when that happened, the sun goblet was placed in the exhibit, that night a eclipse cast the world into darkness and doorways were opened across the world. Creatures were free to come and go as they pleased, no longer bound by the accord.

It did not take long for one or two supernaturals to slip up, bigfoot sightings were at a high. Monsters caught on camera, just glimpses but it was enough. People started hunting and wanted to take pictures for fame to either prove or disprove the existence. Maybe the humans were ready to know again, maybe they had learned their lessons. The arguments between race leaders went back and forth, some still feared it was to dangerous. But the pantheons made the choice for them. A day came with a solar eclipse during the day, that night a lunar eclipse happened with a powerful comet, stars shot across the sky and the relics released the energy they had stored for eons and exploded. All around the world those supernaturals showed their true forms from the light of the event, there was no hiding it any longer.

At first humans lost their minds, they were not the most powerful beings and it scared them. The Mystic circle, leaders of supernaturals, came to the human leader and created a peace treaty. They showed they meant no harm and did not want wars or conflict. There were hiccups here and there as the years passed, a supernatural breaks the law or kills someone, a human turns vigilante on something. In was only small cases here and there in the beginning. Then it became more and more frequent, old families dug out their secrets. Hunter guilds renewed themselves, some with the government and some for their own pride. Some beings stayed beyond the veil, not trusting the humans while others wanted to return to the lands of their ancestors, others still help a grudge against hunter clans.

Still the peace was held. They say history repeats itself, will they learn from the mistakes of their ancestors or will conflict rip the earth apart once more.
