The ElvenFolk Guild. The name was decided because, in stories of elves they are wise, and powerful. Normally they are underestimated but in the end they win because of the enemies overzealous assumptions.
We too may look small and weak but I promise you we are stronger than any other guild out there and we are here to prove it.
People have the ability to use magic. These magic users are called mages. The magic that all mages use is either Ability-Type or Holder-Type. Ability-Type magic power comes from the user's body, causing a variety of effects. Examples of this would be element mages or possession mages. Holder-Type magic needs an item to work. Examples of this are Celestial Spirits mages and Requip mages. There are also mages called Dragon Slayers, and these are mages whose bodies are given the characteristics of dragons, allowing them to strengthen their physical attacks with their element and to eat their element to become stronger or heal themselves, though they cannot eat the attacks they create. The only way to become a true dragon slayer is to have been raised by a dragon. Because all the dragons have disappeared, this is considered to be a lost magic.
Every mage has a Rank in the guild, the higher the Rank you are the harder but more awarding jobs you can get. S-Rank mages are the strongest other than the Guild Master. A, B, and C Ranks follow the "power pyramid" while D Rank is the bottom. D-Ranks are usually mages that have fun magic that might no be best for battle and they usually hang around the guild. A few of them are bartenders and waiters/waitresses that work in the guild.
Dark Guilds are guilds that are no longer (or never were) recognized by the Magic Council; therefore they are treated as criminal organizations. Dark Guilds are typically dismissive of legal guilds, seeing their abidement towards the rules imposed by the Magic Council as a limit that restricts their full potential.
