You have traveled a long way to reach the Ravenswood Wildlife Preserve just to speak with the three tour guides- Emily Fletcher, Adriane Charaday, and Kara Davies- about the strange stone you found in the woods behind your house. Ever since you found the stone, strange things have been happening- the weirdest being that animals now talk to you in your head!
“Oh, you must be the new arrival,” blonde Kara squeals as you approach the preserve. Kara is dressed in a pink outfit with matching tennis shoes and shoe-laces. An orange and red jewel that resembles a unicorn’s horn dangles from a chain around her neck.
“About time,” black-haired Adriane Charaday snaps, narrowing her eyes as the silver wolf-paw shaped stone on her black bracelet flashes in the sunlight. Adriane is dressed in black leather, the black wolf pup at her side as a matching collar.
“We’ve been expecting you,” the red-haired Emily Fletcher says, her rainbow-colored jewel sparkling gently from its silver bracelet. Emily wears a candy-cane striped t-shirt and jean shorts, a snowy eagle with flecks of turquoise in her feathers and large amber eyes is perched on her shoulder.
You gulp and follow them silently through the preserve towards the manor in the middle of the grounds. You keep looking around you as if expecting something to jump out and attack, the three girls laugh at your nervousness.
When you reach the manor you let out a low gasp of surprise to see you are not the only person who has come seeking the three young women, at least twenty other people your age are sitting on the lawn, talking- and each one has an animal of some sort with them!
A trio approaches you, the youngest grins, her emerald jewel glinting. “Hey, you’re the new arrival right? I’m Marissa. That’s my sister Mia, and our friend Wol.”
You nod, unsure of what to make of the girl dressed in green with the fox in her arms.
Mia chuckles. “You have no idea what you’ve signed up for,” she says as her diamond stone glitters in the light, it’s butterfly shape seeming to pulse for a few seconds. You can’t help but stare at the small white creature she holds in her arms.
“A Dragon?” you say incredulously, after all- Dragons are supposed to be mythical creatures!
Wol nods, the large reddish wolf at his side seems to laugh at you. “Yeah. If you knew about Ravenswood you should have known Emily, Kara, and Adriane were helping new mages out.”
You shake your head and look around once more, you can see now that all the people have jewels on either a bracelet or necklace. You also notice that while some people have foxes, rabbits, or Dragons, most people have wolves. You turn to ask the three who walked over to you, but they’ve already gone. You sigh and walk towards the manor, but stop to read the sign on the door: “Welcome to Mistwolf Paradise: A Guild of Avalon!”

Missy Elron~ Wow…you read through all that! It took me about a week to write, so I hope I managed to describe the guild well enough. Hopefully you got that this will mainly be a role-playing guild. Until April 19th I’ll only be accepting people who have read the Avalon: Web of Magic and Avalon: Quest for Magic books, but after that anyone who wants to join is welcome to!

Marissa Elron~ Gee, sis, you’re so kind to these people. Lol, okay then, to join you need to request (duh) by showing us a Role-Playing sample (applicable after April 19th, 2008 only) or by telling us why you like the Avalon books and providing us with a little bit of Avalon trivia.

Woldrapaw~ Once we get the “Mage School” up and running (it will take it’s own subforum) you will only be able to post things about the “School” there. That will include all Role-plays and such.

Nerak Dosch~ Any Cakie Guild members that managed to avoid Missy’s banning-sweep of inactives should PM her a.s.a.p. and let her know you will try to be active in this guild or quietly remove yourselves from our midst.

Missy Elron~ Please remember that God-modding is NOT allowed except for the following circumstances: 1) You have permission from that person and we mods have confirmation of it on file. 2) It’s your mule-account and you have previously confirmed that with us. Or 3) It’s me, Marissa, Nerak, or Wol controlling each other.

Woldrapaw~ If you request to join, please don’t remove the join request. We are absent minded people and may only check once every few weeks, but we WILL check eventually, so just PM-poke one of us when we’re on if your join request has not been accepted/rejected within two weeks.
