Tokyo, Japan December 1st 2999

Our story starts in a time not far from now, in a world full of convenience and power. The super powers of the world have changed. The United States have destroyed all of the natural resources and have become a wasteland. The land is almost all but dust and only a few of the great cities still stand. The people of China led a revolt against the communist’s leaders and placed an Emperor in charge. Ireland broke itself off of England and now all of Europe is neutral. The super powers of the world all now lie in the east; Australia, Japan, China, and Russia.

Australia had always been neutral until World War 3 which left the United States in shambles. Since then they have been number one in technological and biological warfare. They use their power to enforce the laws of the Renewed Geneva Convention. Their main goal is to eliminate world wars, even if that means destroying the two countries that might start the war. This is only affective against large assaults; countries now use assassins, bribes, and money to force their beliefs on others.

Japan is barely second to Australia when it comes to Technological Warfare, they however do secretly lead the world in biological warfare. They have used science and technology to create the best assassins in the world. Through their assassins they have managed to conquer parts of China, Russia and Mongolia. Korea and Taiwan were the first countries that Japan was able to take away. They have embraced this new type of warfare, because they are masters at it.

China has returned to its mystic ways, teaching the mind and body strengthening techniques of martial arts. They do not rely on technology for their assassins, they do not believe that computers and machines can do the job as effectively as the human soul and mind can. Their naturalist assassins are fearsome and often underestimated. However, to do so would be unwise.

Russia, has managed to keep itself in the game through scavenging through the other countries. They have picked up technology and sciences from all over Europe, what’s left of the USA, and Africa. Their sheer will and determination have kept them fighting for land, and power. They have taken over much of the land they lost when the USSR was disbanded. Russia is run with a brotherhood mentality; their assassins usually come in twos.

Europe tries to gather support for peace in the East, using the tragedy that befell the West as an example. They have assassins and agents that they have trained to take out other assassins. Hoping that this might being about peace once more. They have no biological weapons, but have secretly hidden their technological advances. Some of their agents have even been used to steal technology from Australia and Japan.

Africa is in a civil war with itself, trying to decide who among them will finally step up from being a third world nation to join the super powers. This country is extremely dangerous and no one is safe within its lands.



Since wars have become a secret art, many recreational venues have been discovered. The world enjoys itself for all its pleasure leaving computers, robots, and androids to do its work. High tech sports have become a new thrill as well as acrobatic stages and circuses. Humans, Aliens, Newtypes; all try to survive in a world where the war could be your quiet next door neighbor, or your favorite Mag Bike driver.

Mag Bike Racing – Magnetic wheels and tracks have brought into this era a new and exciting sport. The tracks can vary between normal tracks, vertical tracks, and upside down tracks. The magnetic in the bike and track keep the bike on the track without slowing it down. Most of these races are done at 600 miles per hour, and all crashes are fatal. There is at least one death a race. This isn’t that dangerous because cloning of humans is completely legal, you just have to be able to afford it.

Kaleido Stage – Plays and performances are preformed at death defying heights, with special affects stages and props. However the thrill is that the real actors and performers use acrobatics to portray old and new plays. No strings attached and no nets, this is a thrilling entertainment that has taken the place of Operas, ballet, and theater.
