Channel [G] used to be called Gaian Radio.

Gaian Radio was established back in the summer of '05. We had 80+ listeners every night, many popular GDers as DJs. Radio life was good.

However, at the time in '05 shoutcast hosting was expensive. It was about 90-100 dollars a month. Although we had the expenses covered. Shinobi Ten and Kuroboom were donating and the google ads were paying off. As shown below.

Gaian Radio looked like it was doing great.

Then the unthinkable happened. Google claimed we were exploiting there ad system. So they refused to pay, and any further explanation was never received. I think I sent about 10 emails, and none were ever answered.

So we eventually had to shut down Gaian Radio.

3 months past and we got enough DJs willing to donate money and we were able to get back on our feet. A few of the DJs stopped paying, but I was able to pick up where they left. We even asked for listener donations, and lived off that for about 2-3 more months.

We shut down again.

Then lastly we opened for about a month (due to shoutcast servers prices being drastically reduced. ) However, by then most fans and GDers didn't know about it anymore, or just didn't care.

Now back in '07 Gaian Radio has taken a new name: [G]-Radio

Then again, due to lack of interest, we were forced to shut our doors.

Now, July 3, 2007, we have aquired a new name : Channel [G]!!!

We are back, WITH VIDEO!

Now with 100% more Grammardor as Captain.
