A fighting building called a Ludus can be owned and ruled by your hands. You are the Dominus or Domina. Your words are law. Your hand will pick who fights. Will the Magistrate be pleased and gift you with riches? Or will your building fall from his good graces and in turn your stock suffer?
Blood and Glory is a Champion's dream. To climb the ladder from Fighting Slave to training the masses as a Doctore. The crowd will roar or boo and decide your fate.
A softer hand is needed however, to heal the wounds and the hearts. House slaves may be seen to others as soft but are a high need in order to keep a Ludus up and a fighter healthy. They will have their own victories and graduate to become head of medicine as a Medicus.
