For a thousand years the elemental crystal protected Gaia and balanced the Elements. Druids protected the crystal in the northern temple until one day when a group of demons attacked the temple hoping to control the crystal to increase their power. The druids destroyed the crystal rather than let the demons use it. It shattered in to twentyfour pieces that disappeared, and without the crystal the world was thrown into an age of chaos. Until one day it was discovered twentyfour people had found a shard of the crystal which had melded with them giving them the ability to control an element. They set out in hopes to balance the world and end the chaos.

The crystal broke into twentyfour shards giving twenty four people the power to control an element they are.

However the <b>demons</b> still want the power of the crystal.

There are others who are not elementalists or demons but for there own personal reasons wish to protect or steal the shards.

<b>Protecting</b> - of various race and background but all for whatever reason see fit to keep Shard holders from harm.


<b>Stealing</b> - Again of various race and background, for reasons selfish or not all want a shard of there own.
