The theory of Quantum Mechanics states that a molecule must invariably choose all possible choices. As such, this extends up, till there are numerous parallel worlds filled with the multiple outcomes. To ease the numerous universes down to a much more coherent level, Wave Collapse Function was theorized

The Wave Collapse states that all other Universes collapse into the one observable Universe, leaving only the most likely option as happening.

The place one stands now is a place where some of the small bits of parallel realities managed to survive. Though they are small, there is numerous islands on this sea of blackness, that exists. Some intermingle others don't. All the possibilities of the alternate realities converging, since they now have been discarded.

The only things that keeps these small communities going is belief. If one believes enough in this area, it works, but the same could be say, if one area is filled with enough that don't believe, then the powers or technology could stop working. So one must be cautious as they move threw the 'Territories of Belief' For sometime, they may find themselves in the wrong territory, losing a fight they shouldn't have started.
