The Country of Valhalla stood under the rule of King Baldur and his wife Queen Nanna. Valhalla was the most beautiful, and popular, country in the world of Asgard. The country flourished due to the benevolence of the Tree of Light which resided in Valhalla's capital of Migard. Valhalla was also administered by the guidance of the 12 judges known as the Valkyries. The Valkyries were the most prominent warriors and loyal ever to be seen. All of Valhalla's citizens were born with a special gift other countries envied, the gift of magic.

The citizens of Valhalla worshiped the tree of life which protected and blessed them. King Baldur knew no enemies and was respected by all. All except Loki whom envied Baldur's glory. Loki, ruler of Sigyn, was a man of many words and could easily fool even the most cunning man. Loki deceived Hod, ruler of Mistletoe and Baldur's best friend, into invading Valhalla. Due to the unexpected attack, Valhalla easily and quickly fell to Misteloe's attack after only months. Due to the unfathomed blessing of the Tree of Life were they able to push Mistletoe out of Valhalla.

For three years did Queen Nanna and the country of Valhalla mourn Baldur's death. During the time of mourning, Sigyn laid siege to Mistletoe and made plans to assault Valhalla yet again. These are the stories of the citizens of Valhalla...
