Socat Stories'..... story will dive into pretty much every story genre, so anything you like to RP about, it is possible, you don't even have to get involved with the main story. You could just be there. The story takes place in an alternate world, so it's not like Earth's future or something like that. The people of this world are technologically advanced, however, there are areas of the planets surface that remain uncharted and much like our old west. Humans and the demons(creatures of legend and myth)once lived side by side on this world, but not necessarily in peace. Recently torn by war, many of the lesser-developed cities are still in the rebuilding phase, while those with the highest economic power rule other cities. Socat Station itself has become a refuge for many people. Those who don't like the government of the planet, whether their reasons are righteous or not, those who wish to reach the stars, many people for many different reasons call Socat Station home.


All applications for the guild must include a character profile.
When applying to the guild there are only a few things that we ask for, as this is a role-playing guild it would be best if you have had some experience doing so, however, it is not required. Applications for the guild must include a character profile. Name, Age, History, Physical Description, and a description of the character's Personality are required., all other fields are optional.

When it comes to Physical Description, just saying see avatar or something to that extent is not allowed. Describing your avatar with words is fine. An example of one's writing may and likely will also be requested. So if you just want to save some time and send it right away, go ahead.

Now you are not limited to one character, however, we do ask that you submit all characters that are not your starting character via the Pending Character thread and send a PM to RoninZero to inform the crew that they have a new character application to review. You will be contacted shortly with information on it.

Also, if you should wish to RP an already existing character from the Character Adoption Center, feel free. However, it is then required that you submit a sample of RP with that character with your application.

Also, it is asked and pretty much required that all applicants visit the Storyline Intro and History threads and read up on what the "main storyline" is about. Should an applicant not read these articles it will be likely that they will be denied.

First thing is first, all character profiles must be posted in the character profile thread, makes sense, eh? It will help us and other users keep track of your characters. What we want in the character profile pages are the same as the application.

Reserving space while roleplaying is not allowed, it causes too much confusion and causes everyone to wait on just one person.

God-moders will not be tolerated, all blatant offenders will receive two warnings and then be immediately banned from guild. (All cases of god-moding will be discussed by crewmembers so you don't have to worry about fair dealings.)

RPing here will be like writing an English paper... but fun, wow, that's kind of a bad analogy. Anyways, spelling is important, as is grammar. Now that doesn't mean we are going to be harping on you for a misspelled word. I'll screw up on occasion too, we all do. But we do ask that you be careful and review your posts before posting. Now if a character has a strange way of speaking or what not, don't worry about grammar or spelling if it can still be understood. Out of character speaking must be done in parenthesis, i.e. posting(Ooc talk)posting.

Members that remain inactive for an extended period of time will be banned from the guild, sorry if that seems a bit harsh. Several attempts to contact inactive members will be made before banning of coarse.

All characters of a member who has been banned or quit are forfeit and will be placed in the Character Adoption Center for those who are willing to actively RP them. Former members are free to reapply, however, it cannot be guaranteed that their characters will still be available. If this is the case a new character must be submitted.
