Just checked out the new Need for Speed: Pro Street. I think it might be pretty badass. Whats your opinion?

You'll hate me for saying this, but...eh. (tips hand seesaw-like)

I'm more of a Gran Turismo kind of guy.

Gran Tourismo all the way! I might like Need for Speed games more, but Grand Tourismo 4 has the 62 Buick Special and 87 GNX. Definatly worth buying the game for!

Eh, I got kinda tired of Gran Turismo after 3. I played Forza and loved it. Also, I have a 360, so it makes it real hard to play GT. I like NFS because I don't have to earn a license. I have enough problems keeping a real license. I just don't like having to take a test in order to complete the game. That and I have a hard time with the license test. But, I can pretty much beat every race anyways. So, I don't see a need to have a license just to race.

Yeah, the licencing is definatly the worst part of Gran Tourismo games. It just takes so long. I've never played Forza, but I would like to get an xbox 360 and Forza 2, I heard it was really good.

From what I innitialy saw it looked decient. I'm interested in Juiced 2 which seems to look just as good and has a larger selection of cars. What I liked about the Juiced games is that the body kits appealed to me, some of them being real kits, where as at least half of the kits on NFS looked like total rubbish.
I don't think I would pay money for either of the two games, I've got to save money for the car. sweatdrop

The NFS Kits do look like s**t. I never really liked most of them. The Autosculpt is crap. You still are limited on what you can do. Mostly I like the nearly unlimited styles for the paint in Carbon. I hope that PS is just as good. I made some badass styles on that game. I'm still going to get it. I haven't had a racing game in so long.

I just played Juiced 2 about a week ago, and I guess it has pretty decent kits. Honestly though, I know very little about body kits other than if it looks good or looks stupid. I've never really been a big fan of kits or new cars. I'd rather just re-do a classic car.

When it comes classic cars, for sure no kit. Imports or Euros, depends on the car. Larger cars, big mouthed kits with streamlined rears. It just all depends on the car.

I gotta ask, what do you guys prefer, Newer cars with kits and all that (Riceing, etc) or Classic cars, whether restored or modded with big engines and whatnot?
I prefer Classic cars and large engines. (dunno if you could tell, hahaha)

I don't like my classic car at the moment. Its not playing nice. stare

I really don't have a preference. I like both. Both are good for cruising and both have their points in racing. Both will turn heads when you roll by. Its all good.

I like any racing game and NFS is no exception but I gotta say, I'm really GT guy. I really appreciate the extreme attention to detail to the individual handling, over and under steer, and suspension characteristics of each car plus the collection is great (would have liked the high end marques to be included though). I like earning licenses too, it makes it feel like I'm really earning the career of a racer, though I will say, running the Nurburgring near perfectly after a pace car gets on my very last nerve. Oh well, at least now I have each turn burned into my memory. sweatdrop
