Hi, my name is Jessica, nickname's Rose, I'm 15, and I'm in love with lolita fashion. I like sweet lolita more then gothic, but I like gothic lolita too.
I mostly joined because I thought a bunch of people new to lolita would be here so I wanted to help out with that.
I run love&lace, and I will give constructive criticism. I do not flame people. [But when people can't take me saying that something is wrong when I'm doing it nicely.. I tend to get annoyed. x: You don't have to agree with me, but please be reasonable towards me when I am to you.]

Yeah, that makes sense. xD It seems all the big guilds.. when you post... They ignore you.
I like that about my guild, it's kind of medium-sized, so it's a good size, but no one ignores anyone.

My name is Orela, I'm 21 years old and I live in Seattle. I'm a dollmaker, a corset fetishist and I'm also heavily involved in the E.G.A. or Elegant Gothic Aristocratic lifestyle. It gives meaning and substance to my life. My musical tastes vary from genre to genre but I will tell you, I don't like rap, country, most American rock, or emo music for the fact that rap is vulgar, country is hick-ish, American rock is mostly vulgar as well and is, in my mind, not much different from rap and emo music is depressing and, when listening to it for lengthened periods of time due to one's thirteen year old sister, annoying.

I have nothing against emo whatsoever. What I have a problem with are kids ((usually aged 12-16)) who do not actually have problems in life but pretend to or believe that since (scenario 1) Daddy bought them a BMW instead of a Porsche that life is over. I also do not like the people who will say things such as, "There are children in Africa who are dying and you're - - -" If you truly cared about those kids, you'd go help them.

Basically I'm a nice guy, I guess, I'm just VERY opinionated. I'm also brutally honest and very blunt about things.

My motto in life is thus: I will resignedly ignore your rules for living quietly and floating under the world's radar and do whatever the hell I want. Yes, it's a quote from Shimotsuma Monogatari but I rather liked that novel and no, I have not seen Kamikaze Girls: The Movie nor will I ever because I have an ideal of what Momoko-chan and Ichigo-san look like, act like, etc. and will not give that up.

I am very much a fan of Mana-sama and, as I use the term he coined to define myself and to not make mention of this would be blasphemy, his Lolita/Aristocrat clothing brand Moi-Meme-Moitie. I have, unlike most people that I know, shopped there as I am Japanese and am from Tokyo.

I have pink and black hair to my shoulders, brown eyes that I cover with either green or red contacts most of the time and I have been known to wear quite a decent amount of black lipstick when I go out with my friends to Jingubashi Bridge on Sundays. Sometimes my translator becomes snarky and so, if my English becomes broken or if it all comes out in kanji, I'll try fixing it as soon as my machine becomes active again.

I love many other bands, but, I LOVE Linkin Park more than anyone knows. You say anything bad and I will attack you, so please don't. I'm not in an attacking mood.

I love reading oh so very much. Books are my life. Fantasy ones mind you so don't go talking to me about history, literature, gushy romance or other things. Again, attack books and I will attack you whether I am in the attacking mood or not. I owe them my life and am indebted to them.

Dragons are the best, and they are real whether you wish to believe so or not yourself. And, because books have given me my life, I will believe many of the things they tell me and such. With that being said, please do not try to tell me anything different if I say something you disagree with.

I am not religious in the slightest. If you are.... well.... avoid that when talking to me. I will make you hate me very quickly if you don't. This has been changed as of August 2009. I have made the decision to practice Wicca. I'm not as into as I wish to be at this point, due to school and a lack of resources, but I still believe I am. Unlike before, I am always in a fighting mood. Feel free to pick a fight you believe you are capable of winning.
