Flameclan

[A Chance of Rain]

They have the largest territory but even with the largest territory they get the same amount of prey as the other clans. They live in an area with little grass and little water, and they have what looks like burned trees, but yet the trees are just black and they have leaves.

The camp is in plain sight, but they surrounded the camp with thorns. When you walk through the small opening you see the medicine cat's den. When you look to the left of the den you see the leader's den and to the left of that the warrior's. To the right of the medicine cat's den is the apprentice's den. To the right of that is the elder's den and in the center of the camp is a tree and the lowest branch is where the leader makes his/her announcements.

Applefrost stretched herself. She had just woken up, and was ready to be assigned to a patrol. She looked around the camp. She noticed how little cats there were. Applefrost heaved a sigh. Then strightend her back. She would work like three cats today.

A Flameclan Kit

I may be a kit now...

Blossomkit opened her eyes. She wiggled out of her nest and stared at her brother. Should I prod him awake? She asked herself. Nah he'll just go back to sleep, she thought.

She then started walking to the exit of the nursury, which was behind the medicine cat's den, and carefully she walked into and out of the medicine den and into the clearing. Blossomkit wanted to leave the camp, but she knew she shouldn't, and if she were to leave, she would have to go with Snakekit. She sat down and stared at the passing warriors going on thier patrols or teaching their appertices.

But one day I'll be a warrior!

Applefrost saw Blossemkit sitting down, observing the camp. She have a faint purr of amusement. This would be a great Warrior. She thought. Applefrost licked her chest fur and she gave a quick lick to her paw, and drew it over her ears.

The Flameclan Leader

Sandstar opened her eyes. She was the newest leader, but, yet, she had already lost a life. She got onto her paws and started to streach loosening her mucsles from her long sleep. Then she slowly padded out of her den. She glanced at her busy clanmates, and a kit? Sandstar started toward the kit, but decided againest it, for she was a kit.

Applefrost saw her leader and meowed, "Sandstar, may I go on a hunting patrol?" Her paws itched to get out of camp, and to sink her claws into prey and bring it back to the Clan. She had already groomed her fur to the upmost, and she waited to be assigned.

The Flameclan Leader

Sandstar shook her head. She had gotten lost in her thoughts again. "A-a Hunting patrol?" She asked. She was used to being deputy, but she couldn't take Ambertail's job. "Why don't you wake Ambertail and see what she says..." Sandstar said sounding un-leader like. She hadn't gotten that deep sound of wisdom most leaders had and most of her clanmates knew it.

Applefrost dipped her head. "Yes Sandstar." She meowed. She stood and began to pad towards the Warrior's Den. She didn't want to say anything about the leader's awkwardness. She couldn't blame her. After all, she was a new leader.

The Flameclan Leader

Sandstar padded around her camp. To her it really wasn't her camp it was Flameclan's camp, but, still, she was the leader of Flameclan... But when she woke every morning she would shiver without the heat of her clanmates. When she lifted herself out of her nest she was planning the days boarder patrols. When she awoke she wasn't the leader... Redstar was. But Redstar was gone and she was leader.

Sandstar shook the thoughts out of her head. She headed to the fresh kill pile and took a mouse that would soon be crow food. Sandstar took one bite followed by anouther, and there she sat eating her small morsel of mouse.

Applefrost saw that Ambertail was sleeping in the Warrior's Den. So she gently woke Ambertail up by pressing her paw against the deputy's fur. "Ambertail? Wake up, you need to assign the Border Patrols, and the Hunting Patrols." She meowed. Applefrost waited for her to wake up.

Ambertail twitched, rolling into a ball, and growled out a 'mrowf'. Unrolling herself, she stretched out her paws and uncurled her tail.
"Patrols?" She mewed, dazed with sleep. Swiping a paw over her whiskers, she nodded. "Ah, that's right. The patrols." She paused, thinking quietly to herself. There weren't very many warriors that she could afford to send. She would thank Star Clan when the kits were apprentices. Reasserting her focus back to Applefrost, she nodded to the other side of the warrior's den.
"I want you and Danny out on first patrol."

Applefrost dipped her head to the Deputy.
"Yes Ambertail." She meowed. She looked around the Den, and saw that Danny was sleeping. She nudged the cat, waiting for Danny to wake. "Come on you sleepy furball, we need to go on the Dawn Patrol." She meowed.

Danny glared up at Applefrost, pulling back his whiskers. "I wasn't sleeping. You sleep more than a hibernating bear." He chuckled, stretching as he stood.
Swiping a paw over his whiskers, he padded past Applefrost to stand beside his mate. "So it's patrol today, huh?"
The amber-colored queen shrugged and bumped her head against the white tom's shoulder before turning away and out to the fresh-kill pile.
Danny, shrugging, looked over his shoulder at Applefrost. "Should we get going?"

Applefrost rolled her eyes. She wouldn't get in these... Minor annoyances. She called it. She thought he was sleeping, since he was in the Den, but he hadn't had to be like that. Applefrost shrugged. She said, "I was waiting for you. I'm ready." She meowed as she flipped around and dashed out of camp.
