A house with a well manicured front lawn in an isolated neighbor. It has only a few bedrooms due to Alex’s father's (Christopher Mar) inability to stay overnight much less extended periods. Where the basement should be there is an indoor pool, its large windows facing east toward the driveway. Once inside the front door you are met with a large living room, the back wall has large windows, letting in natural light and a view of the backyard. A grand piano sits in the corner close to the double doors leading to the back of the house. A sleek and modern kitchen (where the cook can be found before, during and after a meal) and dining room combination can be seen. A short walk away is the library/study, also built with large windows. Up the stairs are the bedrooms, the bedroom on the left and main bedroom (Alex's Bedroom) has a view of the front yard, the bathroom not far off. The second door on the left (Gabriel's Room) also has a view of the front yard, the bathroom found close by. The first door on the right, (Sabre's Bedroom) has a view of the backyard its bathroom just a door way. The second door on the right is yet another bedroom, (Guest Room) it's bathroom also connected.

Alex paid the man driving, muttering a thanks and nearly jumped out of the taxi as it came to a stop. She left the door open for Sabre as she walked up the steps to her home. Alex glanced back at Sabre as the key turned in the front door, unlocking it she stepped in. ‘Made it back safely… and before Miss. Amy too.’ She thought, referring to the cook whom she looked up to.

~Sabre~

Sabre couldn't help the chuckle that left him at Alex's hurried pace. Stepping out he shut the door and caught up to her easily, shuting the front door behind him. "Pardon me, Mistress, but I get the feeling your in a rush. Are you expecting someone? Or hoping to be back before anyone else?" Sabre asked his voice calm and relaxed. He was interested in the others in this house, frankly he needed to know who all he would be serving if anyone else.

“Miss. Amy, that’s all. She’s the cook my dad hired so she’ll be here sometime soon,” Alex said as she walks into the living room and slips her shoes off. “First things first, do you want to go get cleaned up and then a tour of the house?” She said as she walks further into the living room, looking around for a moment to make sure nothing was out of place. Other than Amy, her son David, and Alex's Father, no one’s visited the house much and Alex wanted things to be nice, or at least look it for now.

~Sabre~

"I thought as much. If it's alright with you, I'd rather get the lay of the house first. I can clean up afterwards." Sabre said following her, also taking his shoes off but tucking them under his arm. They needed cleaning before he'd set them down in the house. "Is everything alright, Mistress?" He asked after a moment.

“Yep,” Alex said, nodding her head and her ears flapped a little, seeing as she was now home she was much more comfortable with her environment and her ears came forward. “Okay, well, this is the living room,” Alex said, giving a quick gesture around. “Out there is the back yard and pitiful plants.” She said, pointing towards the sliding glass door that lead to the back yard. “Downstairs is the pool, and over there is the kitchen and dining room.” She gave another gesture towards what appeared to be a doorway to the dining room. “Upstairs are the bedrooms, yours is the first door on the…” Alex thinks a moment, turning towards the stars and imagining herself walking up them. “Right, first door on the right,” She finished with a smile, happy to have figured it out without having to actually go up the steps.

~Sabre~

Sabre followed quietly, mentally noting each room's location. He knew at some point he'd probably be sent to fetch something or show guests to speifiec rooms so he wanted to be certain that he knew where everything was. Another smile had streached across his face, he was glad to see Alex relaxing more. Sabre hadn't liked seeing how tense she was at the shop. "First door on the right, alright. Is there anything I can do for you before I get cleaned up Mistress?" He asked still smiling. Sabre had a good feeling about this one, maybe for once he'd actually stay in one place for longer than a year.

Alex shook her head, “No, thank you though.” A sudden idea come to her mind and she said, “Oh! Wait here!” She bolted up the stairs towards her room, digging around for a moment before coming back down with two bobby pins, a simple chain necklace and a small charm in hand. “Do you want me to take that collar off?” Alex said, holding up the necklace as a substitute.

A startled expression crossed Sabre's face for a moment. Well this was new. No one had bothered to ask about taking off his collar, it was always left on as testiment to what he was so no one would forget. Not that anyone would ever let him forget. "If it suits you better Mistress then yes I wouldn't mind." Sabre said kneeling so Alex would have access to his neck if she chose to exchange the collar for the necklace.

Alex nodded, walking over she stuck the charm in her back pocket, along with the necklace. After moving Sabre’s hair out of the way she stuck one bobby pin in her mouth and with the other she started to mess around with it, trying to find the tumblers in the lock. “Oh, forgot to mention that the library is—Oops,” She said as the bobby pin from her mouth dropped. “The library is just passed the stairs; my dad uses it as a study when he’s here.” Alex finished saying and picked it up, continueing to mess with the lock, now sticking the other bobby pin in with it. “Do you want your other charms on the necklace?”

Sabre was quiet as Alex got to work. It felt a little weird to have someone that close but it was a good weird. It was like being around someone for the first time since getting really sick. He found himself relaxing more to the point where he almost didn't here what she had said. "I don't need them on me unless anyone is going to want to inspect my ablilites." He answered after a moment. "Mistress, do I need to do anything specific when your father is home or just go about regular duties?" He asked after all he didn't want to upset the lord of the house.

Alex looked over his shoulder and onto the ground as the collar dropped with a grin. She then blinks at the question; she hadn’t actually thought that far ahead. “Um, just regular stuff I guess.” Alex said, fishing out the necklace and charm from her pocket. She put the simple charm, the outline of a cat, sitting up and tail hanging gracefully down, with two turquoise stones set in for the eyes onto the necklace before putting it around Sabre’s neck and latching it. “What do you think?” Alex asked.

Sabre rubbed his neck a little, it felt weird not to have the collar on but oh so good. He rolled his neck letting it pop a little before he took a look at the charm. How fitting He thought with a smile as he fingered the small cat charm. "I think that no one will be able to mistake who I belong to now, Mistress." He answered staying in his knelt position as he looked up at her. "It very beautiful, thank you."

Alex smiled as Sabre rolled his neck, not liking the popping sound but figured it probably felt good to him. She nodded as he told her no one would mistake who he was with. “Good,” she said, a slight blush creeping into her cheeks without her realizing it as he looked up at her. It was weird to see someone look up to her, exspecally someone Sabre's height. “I’m glad you like it. The eyes are turquoise, they’re one of my favorite stones,” She added, picking up the collar and debating on throwing it out or not. “Here, you can throw it out if you want,” Alex said, offering the collar to Sabre.

Sabre took the collar from her. Honestly he didn't know what to do with it but for now he tucked it and the charms inside his pants pocket deciding he'd think about what would be best to do with it. "Is it now? It's a beautiful stone, a very good choice." He said keeping his gaze up at her for a moment before rolling his neck again. It was stiff but it hadn't had this much freedom in a while. "If it's alright with you I'd rather just hang onto my collar for now. At least until I find an apporiate use for it."
