Courtyard. (Best place to see the moon *wink wink*)

Right under the moon. gigantic courtyard

Ellie sighed as she went and sat down on a bench looking up at the sky. "Dad, i wish you were here, maybe i wouldnt be so lonesome.." she said in a soft voice as she stretchd her wings

Hikuro walked over to the far side of the courtyard. He leaned against a tree a little out of the way, crossing his arms around his chest. After a few moments he Put his hand to his ear. "Everyone of interest is in the ballroom. The plan can proceed to the next step." He stared at the ballroom in the distance. I don't like places like this. I think I'll let you back out. This is boring now. Hikuro's hair changed back to normal, his eyes softer than before. Well I'm not interested in this either. I don't want to stay here for too long.... Hikuro stayed to himself in the corner of the courtyard.  

[Kairi Nightingale]

Kairi stepped out into the empty courtyard and looked around. She immediately caught sight of Hikuro and hurried toward him. "Hey, you okay, Hikuro? Don't tell me you got bored already! I would've danced with you next if you waited!" she called to him.  

[Solner]

Hikuro looked up as he heard Kairi's voice. Good, she came alone. That will make this easier. "I am not interested in dancing. And I think it would be a good idea to fill you in on something, ok?" Hikuro looked at Kairi, acting as his usual self.  

[Kairi Nightingale]

Kairi gave a relaxed smile, instantly recognizing the change. "Like, maybe tell me what you're actually doing here?" she asked, curiously.  

[Solner]

"Well it is something like that. But first, I want to tell you something I know you haven't noticed at all." Hikuro went up closer to Kairi. "First, we both know you are quite oblivious." Hikuro came a little closer to Kairi again. "Second, you and I have been friends for some time now. So I want to tell you something so should notice, but you don't." Hikuro shot a look at the ballroom. "First thing though, you know I like you, right?"  

[Kairi Nightingale]

Kairi tilted her head to one side. "Well, of course. I like you, too, Hikuro. Like you said, we're friends, aren't we?"  

[Solner]

"Yes, but that is the first part of a relationship. I want us to be more than that." Hikuro lowered his head as he spoke, finding it harder and harder to say each word. "I.. I like you more than just a friend." Hikuro suddenly had a determined look on his face as he looked back at the ballroom. "Kairi. That guy you where with, it is obvious that he likes you, but I think you should realize that it is really hurting me to watch you with him." Hikuro looked pleadingly at Kairi for a second before looking back down at the floor, his face slightly flushed.  

[Kairi Nightingale]

Kairi stared at him for a second, eyes wide, before looking away. After a moment she glanced up at him. "I'm....not sure how to respond to that..." she said, honestly.

Kenden walked out and looked around then spotted Kairi and Hikuro. He walked over, placing his hand on her shoulder. "Here you are. You guys were taking a while so figured I would come and see if everything was alright." He said to her. Not really talking to Hikuro.  

[Solner]

Hikuro glared at Kenden as he approached. After Kenden said his line Hikuro grabbed Kairi's hand and pulled her way as he put his hand in the air. It was surrounded by water after a few seconds, with which he used to create a spacious dome over he and Kairi. He walked over to the wall and placed his hand on it, thickening them until they were four feet thick. "I'm sorry, Kairi, but I don't want him butting in right now. He is the reason I am suddenly springing this on you. I can't let some guy that just showed up take you from me. I understand if you don't want to say how you feel back, and if you don't know what to say at all. But you must understand how I feel about you."  

[Kairi Nightingale]

Kairi looked between Hikuro and Kenden before putting both her hands on her head. "Ahhhh! I don't know!! I don't know what to think!" She sat on a nearby bench, putting her elbow on her knee and resting her cheek on her hand, thinking. After a moment, she looked up and seemed like she was about to say something but looked away again.

Kenden stepped back and looked at the dome. "Wow. Little child needs to trap a girl in a dome to get what he want's now!! I thought you were better than that Hikuro!!!" Kenden yelled, hoping he could hear him. Kenden's hands were in fists at his side. "Damn it." He said under his breath. "Someone doesn't like to play fair."
