Amaranth headed into class. She was late - as always. She couldn't care less about turning up for class on time. "Amaranth?" the teacher asked. She said nothing, but gave a cold nod before going to the far back corner of the classroom. She dropped her bag on the floor and sat down. She didn't want to be there. She had far better things to do, but her step mother was forcing her to come. Her stupid father. He just had to get remaried! He didn't even see she was just after his money... |

Amaranth was called up next, but she didn't move. "Please come up," the teacher said once more. Amaranth sneered at the teacher. "Bite me," she hissed. "If you don't come up here I'll-" "You'll what? Punish me? You really think that's a threat? You'll kick me out of class? Thank goodness! So what is it, teach? Hm?" Amaranth seemed a lot fiercer than she was. Truth was, she was cold on the inside because she was afraid of eing hurt again. She'd loved her mother, been kind - and her mother had walked out on them. her father had blamed her, and her step mother encouraged that. To keep from ever getting clsoe to anyone again, Amaranth now stayed cold and tried to stay away from everyone. |

Amaranth brought her knees up to her chest in her seat, and rested her crossed arms on top of her knees. She rested her chin on her arms. She didn't seem so fierce now, just quiet.

"k so i just went to sleep for a while and it was almost lunch we only had this class and lunch so i was waiting so i could leave for lunch and i look at the teacher and she seem scared not sure why but who care cause everyone i knew didn't care about me they only cared about the money so my whole life suck and now it was lunch" |

As the bell rang, Amaranth stood up and walked out of the classroom, silent. Her bag was slung over her shoulder. As she walked out, her stepmother was there. "Hi, sweetie," she said, overdoing the sweetness in her voice. Amaranth sneered at her. "What do you want?" she asked. "Sorry, I don't have any money. Go ask my dad." The stepmom gave her an icy smile. "Hunny, you don't want to upset me, or you'll be going to a boarding school for the rest of your education." Amaranth sneered back at her. "I can't wait," she hissed. Her stepmom tried to say something else, but Amaranth had heard enough. A kunai flew by her stepmom's throat. "Just shut up," Amaranth muttered, before walking over to a tree. It was away from everyone else. She sat down against it. she had a lunch, but she didn't feel like eating. |
