'Curiousity leads to unexpected happenings, Gilbert.' The Austrian sighed a little, returning the earlier favour that had caused such an upstart in himself. Although he guessed it wouldn't have quite the same effect on the ex-nation, he supposed he could try it anyway. 'And I'm just as curious as you are... What exactly is it that you want from me?' He asked in a dark murmur, his smile a little playful in that sense. 'Do me the favour of calling me by my name, Gilbert... You're spoiling the mood.' He'd grown used to the nickname, but he wasn't about to let Gilbert continue with it. However, he was content to stay in this situation, finding it humorous to attempt to wear down the irritatingly self-obsessed wall that was his ex-rival, to see how far he could push this. Granted, it was very unlike him to act this way but it seemed necessary. Or that's what he told himself.

Smiling slightly, the albino commented, "unexpected happenings, hm? Such as?" The breath on his face caused him, once again, to fight back a blush. He never thought he'd be thankful for the Frenchman's inappropriateness, but it was proving quite useful in this situation. Otherwise, his unease would have been immediately spotted. "What do I want from you? I wonder..." he whispered softly, a smirk playing on his lips.

When the Austrian commented on his use of nicknames, Gilbert held back the urge to question it. Instead, he met the apparent playfulness and chuckled softly. "Oh? What mood is that?" he purred in a husky murmur. "But if you insist, Ro-der-ich." The name rolled off his tongue smoothly, a smirk once again playing on his lips.

It was rare that he had seen any sort of competitiveness in Austria in a long time; not since the Hapsburg, at least. It was kind of refreshing to be able to push and be pushed back. Although, this was new. The proximity and the type of challenge that was appearing. It made him uneasy at the same time it intrigued him.

'Mmn, good boy... We'll make a gentleman out of you yet.' Roderich purred in approval, happy to have his own way for once. He doubted that Gilbert would keep calling him by his real name and would fall back into old habits, but even a brief period of being called by his actual name was rather... Well, good. Especially the way the ex-nation had said it... But he'd not admit to such. 'Depends. You seem rather incapable of answering any questions properly, so I'd need a reason to answer yours with any sort of direction, Gilbert.' He savoured saying that name, adorning it with some sort of faint lusting, though it was due to being obliged to return the favour. 'Come... If you were so disappointed with my actions earlier, I'll give you a little something more that'll appease that...' He reached to hook one finger into the collar of his rival's shirt, making the ex-nation close the gap between them -no matter how small- rather than himself with a gentle pull. The kiss was tender, albeit brief, and Roderich pulled away a little again. 'Better, Gilbert...?'

"I'm delighted, Yao. And by all means, call me Heracles." The Asian certainly did seem to love the little cat. In fact more than love, he seemed entranced just at the sheer sight of it. "Are there any cats in your home?" Heracles mind began to drift. His clothes were drying quickly, and the steady motion of China's petting of the cat was extremely relaxing...'Stop it.' The Greek shook himself. It would be extremely impolite if he were to fall asleep now.

Belgium gazed out of the window of the small aircraft, not registering the grey clouds that obscured the land beneath her. It had been a while since she had last been to a conference, but she was not looking really forward to it. Last time, she had barely managed to get a word in. Still, it would be good to see Antonio again, and then there was Romano...The European smiled gently, remembering the times she had teased the small boy...but things were different now. The child she had known had now grown up, but..'Is he more mature now?' Belgium mused. She couldn't imagine it. Not at all.

It was soon announced that the plane was to land, and Belgium took out her umbrella, preparing for the imminent rain that always seemed to be falling in England. Of course, her predictions were correct, and she quickly walked to the taxi which was to take her to the conference, wondering if a similar sequence of events would occur at the last meeting she had been present at.

(I feel like Im rushing Belgium along alot...sorry!)

(Ack, I'm so sorry for posting so much...! X.x )

The rest of the taxi trip had been relaxed and quite comfortable. Though the talk had been a little small, and sometimes awkward when on certain topics -or perhaps Toris just felt so- it had made the trip much faster, and the Lithuanian was glad for it. He was even drying off a little now, and felt much calmer... And felt indebted to his little brother.

But now he was faced with a dilemma. He was stood outside the door of the conference, frowning, looking down at himself with a swallow. His throat felt tight... And he felt a familiar stomach cramp. All of his worries seemed to flood back... Only now, there was a new worry that hadn't crossed his mind before. 'Where to sit...?' The Baltic fretted, gnawing his bottom lip rather strongly. Of course, he wanted to sit near Feliks, like usual, but then he also wanted to sit near Latvia... With a defeated sigh, he pushed the door open, walking in with his gaze lowered. However, in the brief glance he'd got of the room, he'd noted that Russia was not here yet... And that was a small comfort, at least.

----------

'Some of my people own cats, but I personally do not, aru.' Yao spoke dreamily, listening to the soft purr of the cat as he continued to stroke it. 'Are all of your cats this... Wonderful, Heracles...?' For lack of a better word due to his hazy mind, he supposed 'wonderful' would have to fit. 'Perhaps... If Arthur were to hold this cat for a little while... He'd feel better. I mean... It's adorable...aru.' He broke his gaze from the cat in order to smile at Heracles, nodding a little. 'Heracles... Nice name. It's wonderful to meet you, and Corporal Cat.' He glanced across at Arthur, noticing that the nation had gone pretty quiet since their chat. 'Are you okay, ahen...? Arthur...?'

'Good boy? What am I, a dog?' Gilbert thought, not caring that Austria was beginning to get smug. He'd knock him down a peg or two eventually. There was no way the brunette would be able to pull this off for a long period of time, especially as more and more people arrived. A slight, unnoticeable shiver ran through him as Roderich purred his name and he bit his tongue slightly to remind his body that it wasn't supposed to show any sort of weakness.

When Roderich lightly grabbed him by the front of his shirt and tugged him forward, though, he made a soft sound of shock. It was an odd mixture of a gasp and a very, very light yelp that only the two of them would be able to hear. And it was cut off fairly quick when their lips touched again, more firmly this time. A very, very faint dusting of pink touched his cheeks as the Austrian pulled away. If it wasn't for his extremely pale skin, the blush wouldn't have even been noticeable.

'Scheisse,' Gilbert thought, biting his tongue again. Instead, he murmured a soft, "perhaps."

{Kimuri, I really don't mind. I've been quite bored as of late and this is quite amusing. XD}

Finally regaining control of the blush that had stained his cheeks and the panic that had clenched his heart, Arthur silently stared down at his hands and started thinking rationally. After all, Greece was a quiet guy who tended not to want to make trouble for anyone, excluding Turkey. Even if he had overheard, he would likely make no comment of it to anyone. Well, perhaps Japan. But Arthur was pretty sure Japan already had his suspicions of the other nations. It wouldn't matter. They had gotten along well before and Japan was also a quiet person who disliked causing trouble.

He barely noticed when China called him out again, too lost in his thoughts. "Hm?" he murmured, glancing up. Green eyes locking on the Asian watching him, Arthur glared slightly. "Bugger off, would you?" he muttered.

(I also do not mind Kimuri. It's been hilarious watching the antics between Gilbert and Roderich xD)

An unpleasant feeling rose in Heracles as he noted the conversation between China and England. Irritation? Perhaps. The European had no right to speak to Yao in that way..'China was only trying to help..is he always that rude?' Heracles was sorely tempted to reply..but England and Japan were supposed to be on good terms, no? And he didn't want to make any enemies today...Turkey was more than enough trouble as it was. Instead, he replied to China "He's more than welcome to, but only if he wants to. I doubt Corporal Cat would mind in the slightest." The Greek smiled gently at the Asian, and glanced over at the Englishman. "As to whether all my cats are this wonderful, as you say, well I don't think it's just my cats. I personally find all cats to be this soothing, don't you?"

Belgium got out of the taxi, and headed to the room where the conference was to be held. Walking into the room, she quickly noted that neither Antonio or Romano had arrived yet, although she could see Romano's younger brother - Feliciano his name was - talking excitedly to Germany. Making her way to a seat a few seats down from them, the European glanced around the room briefly..then did a double-take. 'What is going on between Gilbert and Austria?' She didn't know either of the two nations (or, ex-nation, in Gilbert's case) well, but she did know that they were - supposedly - enemies. But there they were, speaking so closely together that it almost seemed like their lips were touching. Belgium quickly glanced down, not wanting to intrude. She dearly hoped that Antonio would arrive soon.

Feliks looked away from Arthur, Alfred, and the two other nations to see who had just arrived.
Ah, Toris is here.
Feliks rose from his seat and walked over to him. After looking at how his friend looked, he gave a small frown.
"Toris, have you, like, seen yourself?" he asked. He wasn't mad or anything, he just wanted to know if Toris knew what he looked like......it was pretty bad in Feliks' eyes. Giving a small sigh, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a cookie he still had from his plane ride, offering it to Toris with a smile, "Here, you should, like, totally take this."

Finland pushed hair out of his eyes as he curled up in a ball on the seat and finally drifted into his much needed sleep only to be awakened what seemed only minutes later (I learned later it was much longer.) by Sealand Tugging on his sleeve. Tino Rubbed his eye clear of sleep stood up allowing himself to be dragged along before grabbing Peter's other hand and whirled them both around laughing happily.

He allowed himself to pull away and l stand stiff a few moments before completely leaving the plane and ruffled his adopted son's hair. “Thank you, I think I needed that~” Finland grinned muffling the last strains of laughter and taking the boys hand again. He waited for the other Nordics as one of them waved a Taxi.

The moment was completely ruined as Romano pulled back and started to fume, his face only getting Redder. “What. Did. I. Say. About my Curl....?!” the Italian started before exploding “AND I DO NOT LOOK LIKE A TOMATO YOU b*****d!” he hissed one eye twitching from the red hot emotion as he looked out the plane to see its wheels touching the ground. He could barely let out an inaudible “Thank, God.”

The weather was stormy, as it usually seemed to be whenever there was a meeting at England's place, and yet, he still managed to somehow forget an umbrella. He looked around for some way to get to the meeting.

France looked up as he heard Italy talk to him for a moment before turning after seeing Germany. France sighed over dramatically “Oh, Does nobody want to hear my tale of utter hurt and betrayal?” his face was crumpled and he wasn't fully looking when he scanned eyes across the room looking for something to do, or somebody to talk to. It seemed to be a miracle that he did not notice the closeness between Austria and Prussia, his eyes continuing as if he didn't know they were there.

Antonio blinked when Lovino quickly moved away, green eyes showing confusion as the boy's face steadily got redder. "Don't do it?" he questioned lightly, blinking. Apparently, the Italian had meant it. Like he had the thousand times he had said it previously. But Antonio couldn't help it! Lovino looked so cute!

He was about to comment when he noticed the plane coming down. He leaned across his former subordinate, glee crossing his face. "We're here!" He stared, quieting down when he saw the rain pelting the window of the plane. "It's raining..." he murmured, eyes blank. He didn't like rain at all. It depressed him.

Moving away from where he had leaned over the Italian, he rested his head on the back of the seat and closed his eyes. The rain reminded him of the captivity England had forced on him during the pirate days and the sinking of his fleet. No, he didn't want to dwell on that. Especially not here, of all places.

"Let's go!" he commented to Lovino, forcing cheer into his voice and a smile to his lips. Getting to his feet, he walked toward the exit and carefully took out the umbrella that he knew was tucked into a luggage unit. He paused, glancing back with a smile. "I'll share~!" he teased.

Thank you.” she grinned before turning to finish what preparations were still needed to get finished before the meeting. She made sure to grab two umbrella's to make sure that there was one for both her and Vash. Liechtenstein had made a note that whenever there was a meeting in England, An umbrella was quite necessary if one did not plan on catching a cold. She grabbed her bag and ran down the staircase before taking her place waiting for Switzerland to finish up a few last minute things and they would both be off on the plane, hopefully not late.

Truth was, she honestly hated being late, having all those eyes on her band he brother as they walked in, the feeling that you did something almost completely and utterly wrong just didn't seem to sit right at all.

Lovino grumbled unwillingly as he backtracked a couple steps to find some solace to the rain under the other mans umbrella. He felt incredibly stupid forgetting such a major detail, chances are he would probably end up with a nasty flu of sorts when eh returned home, if that was even the least of it, and now seeing as he was already wet he would have to sit through the entire meeting with wet clothes, because, 'oh yes, that would be a complete joy, will most likely start sneezing while I am still here!' his answered angrily in his head, trying to block most out.
