Valandal>> The other two in the Top 3 worst decisions by Gaian mods? Well ... (in no particular order) 1. Current Gaian Storyline 2. Enhanced User Profiles
Long time no see BTW, how you been?
AD>> One would think that my age would affect my mother's trust in my internet savvy ... but not the case.
It is her computer and she continues to have trouble with it. (I doubt its Gaia, rather strongly, but I'll humor her desire)
The sights of New Orleans were, indeed, interesting to see ... there's still a lot for the local authorities and citizens to work out. Many people are not returning, many businesses are moving out, many jobs have been lost ... but its still not as bad as I thought before I saw it. My uncle filled us in on a lot of what's been going on. (he is in insurance, so he had some interesting stories to tell)
I think the most bizarre thing I heard from him was his talking about the total destruction of some of the most famous golf courses in New Orleans. Now, granted, that wouldn't be the first thing to jump to many people's minds ... but the golfing industry of NO is non-existent! Their most famouse course ... 14 of the 18 holes were completely obliterated.

DANG I'm finally back. I had such a horrible time at the retreat. I was set up! crying It turned out.. that the buddhist temple retreat.. was to learn how to chant and meditate.. basically live like a monk. Which means..... following the 8 vows of buddhism.. I can only remember a few but.. no eating in the afternoon (no snacking or dinner! crying ), no talking in the afternoon, no lying, no stealing, no cheating, NO SEX bahahaha, no entertainment.. (no music.. crying ).. Yeah, can't remember the rest. But the vegetarian food.. was SOOOO good.. just not filling (it's all home grown! =O except the rice). D: I was.. SOO hungry.. I almost fainted the first day because I'm so skinny. Dude.. I started hallucinating that the statue with the 1000 hands was.. MOVING. Grrr. And I learned more chinese in those 3 days.. than I have EVER learned in 7 years of chinese school. Gawd. And the chanting gets stuck in your head.. and actually.. you're not supposed to think of ANYTHING other than chanting.. and you couldn't EVER sit down.. unless it was for meditation. And that kills your legs cause you have to cross them all crazy and junk. And I drooled during meditation and pitched backwards and nodded off.. soo many times. So in the end I gave up, and slept.
And the daily hw, was 300 bows a day. gonk Your legs.. BURN. Boot camp. HA. Does not compare to this, I think.
Then after that was over, I got my hair cut and spent the night at my cousins.
Oh well. Yeah? xD How are you all coming along? I was too lazy to play catch-up and post yesterday for that matter. xd
