SJ >> Ooh! Podcast! xd

Hurh! I always overload myself on accident. Sometimes I plan things out that'll keep me busy for months (manga projects, the usual 'do art for myself'), then I totally forget about schoolwork and I end up abandoning my projects...then suffer art block X_X

Being a creative thinker = not as fun XD

I'm thinking of starting a website on my own as well. To be honest, I hate the mossy green theme DA has going xd

Darkish >> I know X_X;; It's like one day they're all "Well, it IS a nice piece of work...we'll let it slide~" and the next they're like, "GAH! HO NOES COPYRIGHT VIOLATION!!!!! OMGWTF IZZIT DOING HERE!!!! WE'LL BE SUEDD!! LOLOLOLOL! *delete*"

Which makes me wonder though, if you have to obtain permission from 'third-parties' in order to display artwork, why on Earth do they have a FANART section? I mean, it is artwork on characters OWNED by a third party...does that mean they have to contact Kazuya Minekura for every Son Goku drawn?

Yeah, I thought so xd

Favorite Disney movie = The Emperor's New Groove XD

AD >> DA is ebil like that~ Which is why I'm starting to hate it X(

axel >> It's after that whole 'Jark' hoohaa, I tell you X_X;; When Jark was still around, everything was all hunky-dory DX I hate it when coperate minds take over a creative one~

Happy Birthday Kojikins!! heart

Okay, here's a link to the beta podcast...try not to be too distracted by the girlish giggling...we were having a lot of fun.

Feedback on how it sounds would be lovely! Good and bad. I still haven't found a good reverb setting for the vocals. I managed to get noise reduction done in Audacity, because GarageBand doesn't do it. So...yeah. It's been a LOOOONG time since I did any audio editting...I'll be playing around with the sounds settings to see if I can make our voices sound more warm and human.

SJ: I LOVE IT!! you guys make me laugh xDDD I love the intro music too~

"....you can sell art on ragnarok online???"

bwaha! xDDDD i love it, i can't wait for the next one! it had a lot of good information, i'd never thought about pricing my art by comparing it with my job~ granted, i tend to work for like 10 minutes on art and then another 30 minutes doing my nails or something xDDD

AD>> I'd say the creator of Bear was greatly influenced by Vasquez. (I think I spelled that right) 3nodding

Sj>> AIEE ... labs are killers, I am so glad I only had to take one my entire college career. @_@ Hope your lightened burden gives you some more breathing room and help your depression receive a firm kick in the pants.

Darkish>> I'll be teaching college level students so I don't expect it to be too bad. (given the college system in China to begin with and the means which one can actually get into college ... we'll see)

Favorite Disney movies? My top three was changed semi-recently when Emperor's New Groove came around ... so, my favorites are:
1. The Great Mouse Detective
2. Aladin
3. Emperor's New Groove

Koji>> HAPPY FREAKIN' BIRTHDAY!!!! scream

AD~ Thanksmuch! :'D

Laitue~ There was this cut out valentine on the back of these Little Debbie cakes. It reminded me of you. xD I gotta find that box again.

axel~ Just don't overdo it. And remember:

Loose lips sink ships.
Loose skirts get you knocked up.

Yeah, I totally made that up. xDD;;;

Wow. Very slow couple of weeks in GASOC.

Laitue - "The Loin King" sounds like something I would have to see. xd

axel - Sorry, but I have no dating advice. I'm not very good with normal human interactions. xd

Koji - Fsking brilliant. Sigg'ed.

I would just like to say that Koji has received the rank of "Why is He So Damn Dashing?!"

Koji>> I've always found myself liking "Rescuers Down Under" more than the original. *shrug*

AD>> I haven't read his comics yet ... but I have seen some Invader Zim goodness. He is quite mad and his genius is sound. I've always found it hilarious that he hates the majority of his fan base. xd (what he calls the Mall Goths)

Laitue>> The Loin King reins supreme! scream

axel>> I'm in the same boat as AD on this one (at least until she realizes and sends me to the bottom of the ocean) ... but Koji pretty much hit the nail on the head. If you're the purse carrying type, might I make a suggestion of getting a brick, just in case. whee

FOUR MORE DAYS!! @_@

PostPosted: Mon Feb 06, 2006 7:39 pm
Ashram - Um, I'm pretty sure our boats are different. I would rather be shot in both kneecaps, dragged around town and be fed live eels rather than be stuck with some random guy at a movie or restaurant or whatever. Boring.

Oh, fine. axel, I do have advice:

Drive separately. If your date is the rough equivalent of a rotting head of cabbage, create a fantastically dramatic scene involving the use of old English, then sweep (yes, "sweep") out the door and drive away. At the least, you'll have a good laugh the whole way home.

AD>> I'd be way to uncomfortable with the idea of going on a double date with someone I didn't even know. Maybe not to the point of wanting my kneecaps blown off, but definately to the point of being fed eels. (YUM YUM YUM!)

Random note - Has anyone ever seen the Korean film "Old Boy"? There's a part where the main character eats a live squid. Delicious. biggrin
