Radé could hear voices. Some familiar, some not. One or two were English... That was a little unusual, but hell. Her back hurt like no other, and that was the primary concern. Her eyes flickered open and she peered around into the stark blackness of Jek's void. It felt like something was watching the group, but she couldn't remember why that feeling was there.
It all made her head hurt, though, so Radé closed her eyes and slipped back into the land of the unconscious.
Tripp glanced around the void-realm and shuddered. They were being watched and it made him twitch. It was the same feeling of having eyes on you from all over... With no visible source. The cyborg did not like the feeling that came from being a lesser creature in the eyes of something invisible. 'Prey... we're like prey...'
There wasn't a lot to do as he followed the white-haired boy except speculate what was happening, or where they had come from. Or why that boy seemed so attached to a girl he hardly knew... Tripp paused on that thought. Jek didn't really know Radé, unless they had done a lot of talking a few years ago. But if that was the case, why would she have forgotten his name?
Tripp quickly started replaying the recent images of their meeting in his mind, watching what little pieces he had of the boy closely. And there it was... well, sort of. It was something in his eyes. A set determination. For what, Tripp didn't know, he wasn't a mind reader... but whatever the purpose, the interest was around Radé. She would have to be warned...
Whenever she decided to return to the land of the living. 'Damnit.'

Antonio shivered as he entered the portal into Lost Home. The place gave him the creeps. Even so, he held onto Alice and kept going. He also utilized his powers to try to keep the rest of the group calm. He could tell most of them were a bit freaked out. Amalia felt the calm come over her, automatically knowing it was Antonio's doing. You sure it's a good idea to use your powers like that? Amalia asked her twin telepathically Not really, but it's worth a shot right? It doesn't seem like panic is a good emotion to have in a place like this. True, but what will you do if someone notices the abrupt change in emotion, and starts acting unfriendly? Then there might just be some more change in emotion. Antonio mentally retorted, not wanting to admit he hadn't thought of that. That Tripp guy seemed like he had an itchy trigger finger..... I should probably watch myself more.... Yeah, you really should. Amalia thought back to Antonio condescendingly. Antonio hadn't even meant for her to read that thought, but he was a mental open book. Once the connection was established, he opened up like a butterfly. Hey don't do that! Antonio accidentally said outloud, and then realized it half a second later. He hoped that no one else had heard that.

Once I thought I could heal you... MADLAX
At the Institute headquarters an annoyingly loud alarm was going off, it had been Something from doctor Sirs office and for some unknown reason they hadn’t gotten rid of it. Suddenly a man walked in and flipped a hidden switch shutting the ungodly noise off, “Send a medical crew to this location, be prepared for Madlax when they get back, send solders to, there might be rebels still there.” The man slipped out without another word, the medical crew did as directed and upon arrival found Madlax laying in a pool of her own blood. |o0c| Sorry I'm a little impatiant so i decided to write my own rescue. P : |o0c|
Two Guards walked through the high security prison Level, the most deadly Altered lived here, and one Crazy Doctor who was last seen being left in the desert, or so we thought. See the higher ups decided that it might be a good idea to leave her under the Institute’s roof so that if she was ever needed, she wouldn’t be rotting meat and bones out in the desert.
The solders were well informed on how to transport Sirs, with handcuffs and a tranquilizer on the ready. This wasn’t the usual protocol for any human but, everyone said that Sirs was different. So, they hauled the woman to the medical bay where she was put in a locked room with Madlax. “I need a soldering gun, Nanos, and the skin from the girl who could turn into metal.” Sirs said and began to work.
Madlax’s total injuries were: Burned palms from explosions, twelve deep stab wounds to the upper back and six to the lower, and she had somehow killed the nanos that were reproducing, so Sirs put the metal skin under the skin on her palms, and she cut open Madlax’s back so she could make sure there weren’t any internal wounds she needed to fix. Sirs also bumped the total amount of power that Madlax could use, up a bit, but if Madlax went further then that the machine would start up, and only Sirs could fix it.
While being operated on, Madlax thought about when she was a rebel, how Alice and the others had been so kind, she hated them now, because they killed people, killed humans. Didn’t she used to hate humans though? Well, that was true but for some ungodly reason Madlax was a bit hazy on her decisions. Okay, Very Hazy.
Now I just want to Kill You.

Antonio & Amalia
Sometimes the things we want to do the least... Antonio followed Grave with Alice in tow. "The medical ward is pretty close. Take the first left turn, and then it's four doors down." He could see the others staring at Grave, and had to resist smirking. Most of those, he recognized as recent aditions. They weren't used to the everyday weirdness of Retribution. "I'll check on Madlax. I don't like the thought of her being out of our sight. Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer right?" Not totally waiting for a reply, Amalia started to head off. Retribution had some "aquired" cars hidden about, and she could "borrow" one to check on Madlax. Antonio heard a bit of Amalia's last statement, but didn't do much about it. He had no problem with her checking on Madlax, and it was getting to be a bit of a crowd. Antonion just kept on his way to the Medical Ward.
...Are the things we need to do most. ((*sarcasm* Yeah, it's a huge party in here! *end of sarcasm* Sorry for my lack of post. I've been mostly waiting for everyone else. Hopefully we can get this going again. The RP is comatose, and that's never good!))

Once I thought I could heal you... MADLAX
Madlax was soon released to be thrown into her room, attached to an IV, and told not to leave. Just in case she felt like walking about the halls, they put a very big man outside her doors and gave him orders to “Shoot with signs of struggle” Jesus, Madlax was only one girl.
About an hour after Madlax woke up, she called her boss, after explaining that she knew who they were and well, she lied and said that she knew where they were to. He responded with a no, and the shutting off of the call. “********.” she whispered and walked over to the window, a plan forming in her head.
She dressed in a black Victorian dress and a veil, with other clothes in a bag. Madlax packed three guns and two knifes, plus a shitload of painkillers. She easily slipped out her window and to the ground below then followed a group of mourners to the front of the building. Then she slid into the streets searching for the group of rebels. |0oc| Mwahahaha. Now we both have somthing to post. : D |o0c|
Now I just want to Kill You.
