I'm baaaack! Full report at end of post.
Yume - I already miss the California sunshine. Ninety something there, but not as humid as I'm used to. Here, it's barely 60 degrees, cold, and cloudy. Even when the sun peeks out, I swear it's not the same. sad
Koji - *kicks in the shin* surprised
****** Cali! Woooo!
It was a great place. As for the previous discussion of hair, some days it frizzed, other days it was fine. Just like home. xd
The wedding was beautiful. I took many piccies, but I used the professional cameras the bride's father lent to me. I was the photographer. o_o; So I can't show those pics for a while as I don't have them.
The next day the bride was gone (the only person I really knew). She asked a friend of hers to take me to the beach. While I'd spoken to the friend off and on for the past two days, I was a little uncomfortable just the two of us. I'm not shy, but I'm not much of a conversationalist either. I say what I need to say and keep quiet otherwise.
Unless I've known the people a long, long time, then I never shut up.
So I passed the idea on of a friend of the groom's, along with another friend who was the best man, to join in. One more of the bride's friend's jumped on and we all ran off to the beach. I've seen the Atlantis AND the Pacific. All in one year, yay!
I have to admit I rather liked these boys from New Hampshire. Perfect gentlemen, sweet, and absolutely adorable to match their humor. (I admit to being more fond of the blonde one I'd first conned into joining.) But I felt really left out. The two boys had known the groom for a long time. The two girls had known the bride just as long. And here I was, the internet friend from a few meager years. sweatdrop
All told, the trip was fun. But I really should've brought a friend with me. Only the two guys, particularly one, made me feel more comfortable. Not that everyone didn't try. Both sides of the party were very kind and welcoming. But when everyone already knows everyone else, it's hard to fit in. sweatdrop
When I develop pics, shall I post a link to them? They won't be the wedding pics, but mostly from the beach. Further, I've already snagged a few from a friend if you'd like to see.

QA - I swear, your weather and mine must be linked somehow. xd It's exactly the same here. Now I want to go to Cali.
Koji - Lumpy and crude they may be, but I own two of them. xd They've never let me down, either.
Every. Single. Screen in KH2 had a cutscene. EVERY FREAKING SCREEN! I'm getting angry just remembering it! I think they wasted effort of unnecessary cutscenes instead of making, oh, I don't know, better dungeons and gameplay.
Darkish - XSII didn't go over well because they replaced quite a few voiceactors (chaos!!!!), the battle system became ridiculously silly, the game itself was very short and on the whole, it didn't add much to the storyline. The music was good (once you get used to Kajiura's style in place of Mitsuda's). Oh, and the graphics changed. XSI had a more anime style; XSII and XSIII were much more realistic. They really should have kept one style throughout (although I am fonder of the realistic style, myself).

Koji - I like even numbers. *pinches*
No, it's further up the coast. Bodega Bay.
Super awesome! There was talk of a one year anniversary party next summer which I'd totally be up for. (But I should try conning a friend to go. Particularly some friend who's married or gay so I can keep the attention. xd *horrible*)
Besides, I can't be anti-social all my life. =P
Admittedly it was awkward, and usually I don't care. I'll wander off by myself and have my own adventure. To Hell with the rest of humanity. Unfortunately, most of it was spent in the van. Like I said, they tried to include me in, but when they talk about something the groom or bride did like, five years ago and how long they know them...one feels really left out. (I only really felt part of the conversation when the two guys talked about snow. sweatdrop And asked me about Buffalo's "lake effect" snow.)
Besides...the two girls were from California 'burbs. The two guys from New Hampshire and live on several acres of country land.
And then there's me. The girl from the city.
Darkish - Trust me, there was much staring out the window. Except when blondie started falling asleep. He was just adorable, I wanted to snuggle. xd
Yume - Seriously? xd Where do you live, again?
And yes. Go to Cali. SUPER AWESOME. Hell, let's all have a GASOC convention.
****** The last day I was in California, I had to check out of the hotel by noon but my flight didn't leave until later. So I stayed at the bride's apartment (bride, groom, and maid of honor all live there. The best man and "blondie" stayed until that morning). I was there by myself for a while and found the one guy had left copies of all of his pics on the bride's comp. So I snagged some. ninja
All here. And yes, I'm in quite a few, though only one I'm content with. xd I swear his camera made all the girls look bigger than they are.
I'll post up mine later tonight/early tomorrow. Hopefully.

Just finished watching Super Size Me. I'd already read the book, but watching Morgan Spurlock vomit after eating two days' of McDonald's food really made me hate fast food even more. xp
(I recommend that film for anyone who wants to lose weight. It will not only make you want to give up fast food, but will make you want to stop eating altogether.)
QA - Northeast Ohio. Land of Absolutely Nothing. (And, prior to any questions being asked, I am not a hick, hillbilly, or anything of the sort. I do not raise livestock. I would not be able to identify a cow in a herd of zebras. And horses, for whatever reason, scare the crap out of me. Thank you.)
GASOC convention, eh? Sounds like good, pointless fun. Excellent.
Laitue - Your news saddens me. But, school is teh importantzorz. Or so they say. Tch. See you around!
Memai - heart heart !! Good to see you! I'm glad your exams are over and that you'll be getting into the college you want. whee Sounds like you've got good news all over the place!
Koji - Awwwwwthatsucks. xd
Sora made me want to smack him upside the head with a keyblade. Roxas, too. No wonder I was always a fan of Riku. (Underage game character hotness...I'm a sick girl.)
P.S. Please do not make me go all Spellchecker AyDee on your post. It's unusual for you to spell with reckless abandon, so I'm curious over "citutations." o.O
