@AD---- I'd like to think my plushies appreciate me not staring at their butts.
I love reading your blogs ( or rather just your writing in general ). I'm really glad I never read Eragon now, and I'm happy you like the Abhorsen Trilogy. It's still one of my favorite series now.
I might be in the minority here, but I don't really like Akiane. I don't see how plagiarizing from National Geographic photos makes someone a prodigy. Then again, that might just arise from my deep hatred of people that overabuse the idea of "references".
And yay, I'm glad you like the art. :3
I'd be all for going along with your secret campaign if it wasn't for my utter stupidity when it comes to drawing weapons or dynamic poses or men or backgrounds. I have a lot of work ahead of me. XD
*stolen anyways*
@Alucard---- Congrats on becoming legal! : > Now you can drink and get tattoos and all that crazy stuff. But heaven forbid you be able to rent a car for another few years.
I used to buy some CDs from Best Buy. Of course, that's before I found out about the Internet. I still think they have some of the lowest CD prices around though. I'm just too lazy to keep finding those sales at the other music places.
@Laitue---- I'm glad you like it! :]
I thought I was the only one that decomposed into rainbows and fruit. ; __;
@Axel---- Yayy, you like it too~ * w*
No problem~ I used your head for my freebies thread, actually.
Axel's a darling too~~ I still love the drawing you did for me before. : D
@QA---- Well, my RL commission list is always open, if you're up for that kind of thing. ^ ^
Otherwise, I never know if there's a way to guarantee when I do art. I have the weirdest drawing habits. Plus you might have to ask my lovely kidnapper, AD.
@Sethy---- Thanks~! I haven't drawn anything for you guys in a long time~ *so slow/lazy* ; ;

On a side note, why are there so few blue names in here? I'm saddened. ; ;

I may be the only Kingdom Hearts fan here (I have no explanation, really....), but if not, the entire movie summary of Chain of Memories is up at Google video. It's three hours long, but it doesn't feel like it. And it's worth watching, if you played KH1 and KH2 and wondered what the hell happened in between. Of course, you're also welcome to play the [pirated] version of the game online, but it's time-consuming and the battle system is obnoxious.
Seth - Indeed. gonk
Nyome - I can't imagine the plushies actually care.
Aw, thank you. I rather enjoy writing them...and believing that people like reading them. heart I like the Abhorsen stuff. The writing's not as good as it could be, but the ideas behind it are so great that I overlook the rest.
Ahh, is that what she works from? I was wondering. Still, I'm very impressed by her use of paints. I think that using photographs as references isn't exactly a crime; photography bores me, anyway.
Guns are ridiculously hard to draw. Lang is the only person I know who can do it properly, and that's only because she's obsessed with them herself. ..."Guns" and "men" and "backgrounds," though. xd What a grouping.
Luff. heart

@AD--- Oh, they care. I see it in their adorable beady eyes.
That was pretty much my take on the series too. I like Sabriel as a stand-alone more than the series as a whole. I thought his other YA book, Shade's Children, wasn't bad either, though I thought he fell into the trap of making worlds unbelievable in a way that distances the reader. That's mainly why I don't read any of his ...younger young adult (?) books.
Artists do tend to work from references. But the difference is that some people use references when necessary, and others leech off of references for every single thing like a parasite. If someone can't make "art" without a reference at hand, I don't really think they should be called a true "artist".
I don't think I'd ever be really comfortable with guns. Or chains. Bubbles, maybe.
@Laitue--- Ee, we're creepy buddies! : D
@Axel--- I still can't make out which part of which animal is where. XD
Happy March to you too! :3 I always remember March because my dad's birthday is on the 1st. I called him at 2 am yesterday and he was eating "a little cake" with my mom. D'aww whee
@Ashram--- I'm not sure if I touched upon our interesting connection before, but we always seem to have been in the same places.
You lived in Houston and went to China, right?
Just reverse that for me, and we've barely missed each other. XD
@KH talk--- It just keeps reminding me of Haley Joel Osment ( The 6th sense kid, and also the English voice of Sora from KH ), who lives in my dorm.
And now I have an image of Sora smoking pot, and I've never even played KH. Great. XD

@AD--- That should be my superpower.
I'm currently reading children's books, actually. I couldn't resist this one. I also bought her more famous one, which is more humorous and oriented towards a more mature audience... but I like the kid's book too.
People just can't seem to draw a line between tracing/eyeballing/referencing. I still see lots of instances where people claim eyeballing or tracing isn't copying art, because they're "still drawing it".
Add clouds to that list too.
@Ashram--- Suburbs? Or further? I'm very comfortable living in the suburbs around a bit city, since it's convenient if you need excitement, but safe and comfy too.
Mmm, when I was an infant? : D I was born there. But still, it's an interesting coincidence.
@KH/Osment---- Yeah, Tisch is where so many child stars go. The Olsen twins aren't here anymore, but the girl who played Matilda is here, as is Osment.
Well, I don't see him often, and I don't think I've heard him speak much. Or rather, I've run into him 3 times, but I can look a celebrity dead in the eyes and not recognize them, so I've never actually noticed him until one of my friends jabs me in the side after he walks by and points him out to me. People in the dorms don't freak out about him anyways, so he's just another random guy. We all know him as the 6th sense kid, but I didn't even know he played Sora until one of my friends who owns KH pointed it out to me. So we still look at him and think "I see dead people..."
All I really know is that he's short, he had a white afro the first time I saw him ( so I thought he was a hobo ), and he is rumored to smoke pot in his room all day. @___@;

I've just found this documentary clip, and I'm really amused. And a little embarrassed that I'm from the state where such a silly thing occurred.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYXUUsDGxkU
It's not porn, so don't be put off by the title. But I'm pretty sure people in GASOC have seen much worse. XD
