koji: aw u_u how long is your hair now? *hasn't seen in ages*
good golly i bet we could be twins heart

oh what brand is the tablet? are you sure you got the latest driver? (check its website if it has one). also, sometime photoshop is retarded and insists the computer must restart before anything happens. ; 3;
PostPosted: Tue May 08, 2007 6:20 pm
Koji - ...right, then. Nurse Joy is the unsung hero of our time...

My first tip would be "don't slap an apostrophe into the possessive form of 'its.'"

My second tip would be "restart your computer," but that's an obvious one. Does your computer otherwise recognize the tablet (outside of Photoshop)? There's no particular trick in getting it to work... What OS are you using? If Windows, which version? Do you have a special mouse/keyboard that might be making things harder? Blah, blah, blah...

You and I really need to find a common anime to watch, Koji. I miss our "zomgwtf littlegirlz with butcher knivez!!" days. Good ol' Higurashi no Naku Koro ni...

axel - I've been meaning to ask this for a while... Do you have some kind of prejudice against capital letters, or are you merely attempting to give Grammar Nazis a dose of mental anguish?

Hoshi is happy happy happy.

Today during work my cell starts to wiggle which is strange since no one calls me during the day. So I pick it up and it from one of the jobs I applied for two weeks earlier. And they told me I didn't get the job so I was bummed, but then they offered me a different one. So after some talking I decided to give the job a shot since I hate where I'm working now. (Also the $38,000 a year was a nice selling point) The only down side is I need to move. But new job with nice money makes Hoshi happy. I just need to hear back about an interview date and I'm pretty sure it's as good as mine, since why would they offer me a job. More details later once I get them. But for now Happy Dance. *dances*

Also you all should be watching D.Gray-man. (current obsession)

Oh and Pokemon Pearl stole my soul, I told myself not to by it but I lost the battle. (How can stupid game be so addictive)

Anyways, must find references.

Acksul~ I can feel it touching my back now, so it's pretty long. Bangs eed a cutting, though. They get n my mouth with all this wind. Dx How's yours? :0 It'd better be identical!

It's some fossil by Aiptek. I've gotten the driver and everything, but it's still not cooperating. Maybe with all this sudden updating my comp will get back in line. - A-

Hoshi~ Haha, Pearl's rad. I haven't put it down. @m@;;
Who'd you start with? xD

AD~ *Grammermafied.* My final project essay would make you cry. x:

The comp recognizes the tablet, even with my new ginormous resolution. I think my PS7 is just fickle. The pressure settings never really worked for it's previous owner, so it might just be worthless.

That we do, I sure do miss me some butcher girls. ): I started watching this weird super shoujo-ai that has the same character styles as Higurashi. It's called Strawberry Panic, but other then being better drawn, I wouldnt look into it. xD

Synopsis: You're a trampy haired freshmen girl being transfered to a credible private school. You find out it's actually four all-girl catholic schools, and that you're a lesbian. Soon you find out everyone else is too. Somehow.
The mysterious gray haired head-lesbian all the other girls adore has a sudden uge to make out with you in the middle of the intro ceremony on the first day, and everyone else is jealous. And so on. xD

Hoshi> Stupid games are always addictive. It's a rule. xp

Koji> That... sounds like an interesting anime. o_O;;

Yes, I'm not dead... not entirely anyways. -cough-

Ashram :: name change = FTW! xd I LOLed, though the real reason why still confounds me profusely 3nodding ...

rofl

Axel :: I did. He slapped me. emo I told him you asked for him personally. He went "OMFGRLY?!?! surprised " and slapped me again, then kicked me out of my room so he could use the pc. Whether he did check GASOC or not, I do not know.

AD :: Deuxia's last visit was about two months ago? (approximately anywho)

this is the new schematic for Gaia:

idea recycled threads invade CB arrow CB invades GD arrow GD invades GCD arrow GCD is in turmoil over this arrow exchangers laugh their asses off arrow minishops remain safe exclaim

Koji :: Shounen-Ai it is then. 3nodding and he's doing so-so. He's planning on quitting his job :C and here I thought I could leech some discount powers of his before july crying

Koji predominantly = cute, so cute sailor clone is you :3 As for the KH clones, some can be truly awesome, I don't deny that. However, some are just absolute fail talk2hand

Tablet problem = no tech-solution from Shiro other than reboot, then kicking the tablet repeatedly question (._.);

Strawberry Panic has been added to Shiro's ever growing animelist. (*_*)!!!

Hoshi-ko :: Hoshi being happy happy happy = me full of glee 4laugh

moving can be a bit of a chore, but the pay sounds reasonably good 3nodding Good luck on such endeavors! whee heart

and like Sethy said, stupid games are always addictive. It's just like what uninitiated in gaming world thought of Tetris at first. It being a simple game has an extremely deceptive ruse where depending on your method of solving can either decrease or increase your dificulty.

Sethy :: glomp is go. *tackleglomps* whee heart

you not being dead = win 4laugh

koji: almost the same. C: Past the back a little bit and feathered on one side, long on the other. (I parted it differently after I got it feathered so it grew back weird. xD) I need to cut my bangs as well.

Wow, I can't say I've ever dealt with Aiptek. Let us know how that one works out for you. ;0

aydee: ah,it's a habit i've picked up over the years.
It is kind of bothersome; I'll try to quit doing it. whee sorry about that.

hoshi: I'm so glad you got the job!! That's a nice chunk of change. C;
I hear good things about D.Gray Man. ninja

sethy: ;0 What have you been up to? heart

shiro: gonk such brotherly love!
What a party pooper. emo
He'll come back eventually, I suppose. heart

AD's brother is home from college. How does AD know this?

Oh, yes. A Super Nintendo in a jumbo box of Easy Mac.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Oh, and this is the greatest blog known to teh Interwebz: http://icanhascheezburger.com/

Akahoshi - Damn! Congratulations, you brilliant thing, you! What will you be doing? How far do you have to move? Etc, etc.

Koji - ...probably...

It really might be the tablet's fault. Try uninstalling the driver and see if Windows will recognize it without it.

Strawberry Panic synopsis = best thing ever. EVER. I'm pretty sure I'll never watch the anime, but your summary made me laugh out loud. "...and everyone else is jealous." xd

Seth - NotDeadSeth! Welcome back! Lovely art in your sig. heart

Shiro - Gaia is a living thing now. I think the Chatterbox can be compared to an aggressive form of cancer.

axel - I started using full sentences and proper punctuation back in high school when an uppity (yes, "uppity") friend of mine did and I wanted to be better than he was. The result is a ridiculously high typing speed and a damn good score on the writing portion of standardized tests...

Don't stress too much over it. Just toss me a period every now and then and I'll be happy.

Ah thanks everyone.

The jobs not set in stone yet though, I need to do a phone interview on Monday, but chances are high since they seem to be putting a lot of effort into this, moer than a company should. But I'm gottz the may IT resume pointing out my mad skillz, so maybe they saw something they liked. Either way happy me, I just need to be awake at 9:00am on monday.

Koji - I started with Piplup, since it was mad cute. But once I got a Misdreavus I sort of stopped using it shince my ghosty is so much better.

Seth - It's a bad rule costing me hours of time and stealing of money.

Shiro - Yeah moving sucks but I'm use to it, I keep a lot of things in boxes so packing only take me like two days. But most of it is going into storage for two month till I find a place (Staying with friend till money starts comming in) then it'll be time unload it.

axel - D. Gray-Man is very good.

AD - It not that far away only a 3-4 hour drive from where I am. But it's a city and cities = expensive. I went online appartment hunting and bachlor appartment started at $600 and 1 bedrooms started at around $750, so that's an ouch to the old bank account. So at least I have a place to stay for free for a couple month till money comes and I can save enough to have a couple months rent in the bank.

The job is well a pretty boring job, watching severs, running code, being yelled at about non working thing. You typical IT job, but I get to work with UNIX/Linux more than Windows so that made me happy, and also the lack of not being one phone monkeys. (Two big selling points) The sad thing is I really have no idea what the company does I just know it beats where I am now. Because watching a monitor is very boring, and a person can only read so many webcomics a day before they fall asleep.

Ok well back to the monitor I guess.

Shiro> Yes, the world can sigh in relief for my being alive. xD!!

axel> Hi~ :3 Honestly, I haven't been up to much. I've just been anti-social for the most part.

AD> Thank-you! heart

Hoshi> Well, as they say 'Rules are meant to be broken'. XP

A few things to catch up on! (sentence ... what sentence?!)

Hoshi Job
Good luck! Go forth and make with the VICTORY over your enemy - Interview.

Koji + Anime Question = ????
The anime that AD and I were discussing (I think) is a new one that has not been released in the States yet - Lucky Star! You'll have to torrent it if you want to watch.

You might want to give Lovely Complex a try as well.
And if you're into mecha anime, definitely give Tengan Toppa Gurren-Lagann a try! 3nodding

AD Brother back
SNES in Easy Mac ... xd
I lol'd

NAME CHANGE!!!!
I'm a huge fan of Ducktales and, more specifically, Scrooge McDuck. He's been my favorite Disney character for as long as I can remember. While I was home, I found a comic collection entitled - The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck and after finishing it I was pretty much on a McDuck high. So ... NAME CHANGE, FOR THE MCDUCK CLAN HAS CLAIMED ME!

Job Search Update
I've had two interviews with ActiveEnglish Conversation School in Shiojiri, Japan and the last e-mail I got from the owner was, "When can you come?" I sent her my arrival dates and haven't heard back from her. I'm a little concerned about this. confused

In Other News
Who here has watched the anime Fate/Stay Night?
PostPosted: Sun May 13, 2007 4:39 pm
Well, I finally bought that car...and it's AD-tastic. That is all.

Akahoshi - I'm sure you'll get it. No doubts there.

Living in cities is only more expensive if you don't want to get killed. Otherwise, you can find a dirt-cheap apartment without much trouble.

Ashram - Whenever I think of animated ducks, I think of Darkwing Duck. It's like Batman with feathers.

I saw Fate/Stay Night. Hated the name, liked the anime. But if Tohsaka wasn't a blatant ripoff of Asuka, I'll eat my hat (but not before purchasing said hat).

On the book side of things (?), I've started reading The Book Thief. It's very different from any other young adult book I've ever read. It's narrated by Death, though he rarely makes an appearance in the story, thus calming my usual "first-person writing must DIE!!!" rage.

AD you car is teh sexah.

The apartment then doesn't worry me to much but I have 4 things that I need;

1. Secure Building - I don't want anyone in the building that doesn't belong there.
2. Electric included - Many computers I don't want to pay keep them running.
3. Heat included - Must be warm
4. Water included - Need baths don't want to worry about paying for each one.

So in the end I have to look at those things above everything else, since I want to worry about as little as possible. Plus I need at least a one bedroom because I don't want my bedroom and every other room to be the same room. So unless I get lucky I'm going to be hitting $700+ a month. The only real plus is I don't eat much and work will be in walking distance. I'll get it all worked out and maybe I can say I'm a student since there are two universities near where I'm looking. (The get deals all the time)

Seth - I break rules all the time, but video game always get me.

Ok, well time for sleep. I got the call at 9am but I'm not sure which time zone sine the person I was talking to is 1 hour behind me. Either way I'm going to make sure I'm wide awake and my cell phone is charged.

Night all heart

*edit - 10:00am*
Interview couldn't have gone worse, information I was given about the job was wrong, and there was way to much awkward phone silence. So if I get the job I'll be shock. *now has a case of emo-betes*
PostPosted: Mon May 14, 2007 7:02 pm
Akahoshi - Thanks. whee I'm still in the "OMFG I can't believe I own this" stage.

Wow. That's asking quite a bit (at least here in the good ol' US; I'm not sure how different housing is up north-like). Good luck, I guess.

Regarding the update: Tch. None of that was your fault. It was their mistake for misinforming you. You can only be brilliant if you know what to be brilliant about. And my personal definition of "interview couldn't have gone worse" is something like "inadvertently called the interviewer a whore, made at least two awkward jokes that were mistakenly interpreted as racial slurs, and hinted at the fact that I may have been terrorist in recent years."

If they don't hire you on bended knee, it's their loss. heart
