Axel:: Nope, not me... I'M GOING BACK TO MY WOODWORK KTHNX! >:U

j/k xD

Koji:: I liked adding humor to sad/tense scenes in the series. how? by getting drunk and saying improper things out loud. think of it as audio commentary but change what the comments say to things such as "TOUCH HER v****a, HIDEKI!" whenever a girl was crying, etc.

i know, sick ******** mind etc. don't give a damn really. I lost my sanity ages ago in this place.

I can't remember the last time I was this excited about an item update. I mean, a fish in a bag, rain boots, and an umbrella. What about that doesn't have potential?

Anyway, it looks like the last week or so has been almost...busy! It warms the place where my heart ought to be. It's good to see so many people popping in. I just wish I'd been less lurky. sweatdrop

Ashram - Holy crap, the entire place is pink! I envy you. It sounds like you're having a good time over in good ol' Japan, though it's nice you're getting a break. Anything else going on? Any schoolchildren who want to fly? Etc, etc??

Shiro - Ergh. I wasn't fond of D.Gray Man, or D. Man Gray, or Naruto in Sheep's Clothing. For whatever reason.

I haven't touched Neo Angelique Abyss. Is it laughably bad, or just annoying?

axel - Let's not overlook the educational value of CLAMP. Chobits was extremely useful for reminding me not to wear my undergarments on my head. I have trouble with that sometimes.

Seth - Hiyaz! whee heart

Koji - Ahahahaha!! Excellent cosplay, my friend. Let the disassembly of limbs begin!

Hope I didn't miss anyone. If I did, I suck.

It was busy because we actually found time to spare. xD I kid, I kid.

You know what, AD, I take the D Gray man comment back. It's actually like a goofed up, way LESS serious Bleach, and still more and more like One Piece.

Talking weapons that become "human" shaped? check. People who wield them? check. Monsters? check. Weapon "Meisters"?? czech
cool

k, enough of the witty banter.

And besides, with names such as "Maka", who is the level headed one; "Black Star", who is loud and obnoxious (almost as annoying as naruto, but twice as comical) and "Death The Kid", who has an incredible case of symmetric OCD, why not watch this? and I haven't even gotten to the personalities of the weapons themselves.

here's a pic containing the more relevant characters:

Hello to Sethy too. x3 and really nice pictures, Ashram! O:

Shiro - Hm. Well, as engaging as that sounds, I think I'll just stick to Vampire Knight (which is very quickly circling the drama drain, imo). And maybe I'll re-watch Ergo Proxy. Haven't seen that in a while.

Ah, yeah, I also saw a bit of KimiKiss. I watched the first four episodes and got so angry at everyone's blushing, stammering and shoe-staring that I had to stop. For ******** sake. I had never wished for a bloodbath so strongly.

I just finished seeing Vampire knight 04, and I duly agree with the drama drain comment. there's gonna be plenty of bitchslaps between men who get between the "heroine" and the male leads. I might just watch it just to see if this will fall under another stereotypical jaunt or if it will have a good plot-twist (such as the main fem lead dying. that would be awesome) or something.

As for a more "serious-minded" anime, I'm really liking Himitsu: The Revelation... although the obvious dabbling into shounen-ai isn't my cup of tea, the plot is quite interesting. Plot wise it's a detective story with an added incentive of delving into people's lives without the cheesy dialogue-then-cut-to-flashback thing certain detective stories usually do. Another one I'm really getting into for reasons unknown is "Toshokan Sensou" (lit. Library Wars) which is a mix of Full Metal Panic without mechas with a dash of Read Or Die without the superpowers.

Shiro - Vampire Knight's used pretty much all of the available vampire cliches already, and it's only on the fourth episode. I don't have much hope for the rest of the season. And I find myself hating Kaname just about as much as I hated Reito from Mai-HiME. They're practically the same smug b*****d. At least Kaname isn't drinking tea.

Library Wars? God, that sounds right up my alley. I'll have to check that out. (Pun intended.)

Has anyone seen / is anyone going to see Iron Man? I can't believe it has a 94% at RottenTomatoes...although Robert Downey Jr. probably has a lot to do with that.

Ashram> Heh, so at least I'm not the only one who's been out of the GASOC loop for that long.

Shiro> This thing you just posted pictures of is called D Gray Man? It sounds interesting.

damn my stupid schedule. WHY CAN'T I BE NORMAL LIKE YOU GUYS AND HAVE A FREAKING 9-5 THING>!?!?!?!? gonk

Alucard:: no, the picture I posted is related to Soul Eater.

A.D.:: Just when you thought they had used up all their clichés, on ep 5, they actually manage to pull off a few more clichés, though more typical to all anime (such as new characters being mysterious, then showing up and doing something at the very end of said op) among others. And yes, I do hate kaname just as much as reito, though I came to like reito once his colors were shown since he's the type of character you just love to hate and actually feel good when he's showing frustration over something. Tea aside, reito seemed more human when said frustration showed in his character.

and I'm glad you enjoyed Library Wars. Books and firearms. Who would've thought they made such a good match fit for animation?

Iron Man, I may be going to see it on monday. Either that or Forbidden Kingdom since I got a friend who wants to watch both. We'll see with what mood I wake up, and then go from there.

As for another anime I began watching, It's called Real Drive - Sennou Chosashitsu. It's made by Production I.G. in collaboration from a story developed by Masamune Shirow, and happens to be vibrantly displayed, though slow at first. Not to mention, the main character is unusual, but not something Masamune has been known to do in the past. Soundtrack-wise, I really enjoy the op and ed, being punk-rock-ish and irreverent.

WELL....I have survived the wedding weekend e__e; The only thing I managed to catch was the groom's brother as a creepy stalker and another of the groomsmen that took a liking to looking down my dress.

Word to the wise: If a seamstress calls you the day before your appointment to see if she can reschedule a week and a half later, don't do it. Screw prom season and their dresses, they should have been smarter and gotten their dresses in advance x: We had to literally tape my dress and the Maid of Honor's dress to ourselves so they didn't fall off.

Also, crash courses on pinning flowers onto lapels is needed...and no white headed pins -___-

Dear god I should just be a wedding planner and charge horrendous amounts of money.

Lawl, forgot to mention. Don't get a Latina to do your makeup at six in the morning either. All of the bridesmaids ended up looking super similar to Cleopatra with purple and pink eyeshadow. She also decided we all needed black mascara in our eyebrows to make the makeup stand out. x:

AD - The teaching experience has been really interesting so far, definitely on a different level than China. As far as flying students ... just a few who I would love to personally make fly, but you know ...

Sometime next month I'm going to try and take a trip to Osaka and visit the castle there as well as try and find the Ozamu Tezuka museum. I'll have pictures if/when that happens.

Also, Libraries with Guns = DO WANT MOAR

Shiro - Those Soul Eater pictures are quite snazzy. I've enjoyed the show so far. That and Macross Frontier.

Alucard_ - SHOOP THE LOOP!! scream scream scream scream

Randomness - I made this for the lulz
