Shiro - The 9-5 thing sucks the life right out of you. We've all been brainwashed by fluorescent lights.

Vampire Knight is very quickly losing my interest. The comic relief is anything but funny and the angst is positively overwhelming. That, and episode 6 looks like it was drawn by a kindergarten class.

The fact that Reito was actually an evil, ancient whatchamacallit STILL didn't save him from being a complete ******** can't believe how into Library War I am. The premise is ridiculous, but I love the characters (especially poor Short Man; he's so very serious).


jenna - Men look down dresses because their eyes are heavily affected by gravity. This is the conclusion I have come to after years of careful consideration. Congrats on surviving the wedding, though! I hope the mascara washed off your face. I'm pretty sure it's not meant to go anywhere but eyelashes.


Ashram - I assume you've seen the news about the earthquake in China; I hope the school where you taught wasn't affected. It's absolutely heartbreaking to see all those parents who've lost children -- and most of them their only children because of China's one-child rule.

Are you going to be following Library War, too? Excellent.

Aye, I've seen/heard news of the earthquake in China ... it was nowhere near where I was teaching but some people I know there said they felt it. Not sure if any of my old students were personally affected by it. sad

And just to note - one child law in China ... they don't follow it ... at all ... xd

I've been away again, awaiting my grades after all the finals too see if I'll finally graduate or not sweatdrop

Summer's been here for a while, and it's gonna stay for a while too. Do we still make art parties? anyone still available and set up a date or something? heart just wondering if we could take a little time and relax between our hectic lives.

Art parties? Um. Even if the guild were hopping with activity (which, judging by the fact that four days passed between your post and mine, I'd have to say it isn't), I don't think most of us are into the art scene too much anymore. Maybe we could try, though. Any brilliant ideas to bring everyone 'round?

Thanks! Living solo and getting a job is next, since I stopped living with roommates and resigned my job at the anime store. Then onto my... becoming a millionaire with a revolutionary idea biggrin I'll make something like BBQ Fries or Banana sandwiches or a cash delivery service or something.

I don't know why I can't drop Vampire Knight. I want ALL of the characters to die now. Except maybe the gatekeeper, since he seems to hate all of them about as much as I do.

Yeah, my job was very easy and I felt more as a guard keeping watch of the merchandise rather than a seller. 5 months after I left they closed anyways rolleyes

Haven't you guys ate weird food like banana sandwiches, green pepper oven roasted butter toast with cheese, french fries pizza, honey/vodka flambe ice cream sauce! fast foods are clearly blinding us on food creativity! gonk

Rargh, I just started my internship today, and actually my first ever actual job. Basically I'm taking a bunch of old code and converting it to ASP.NET 2.0. What this means is that I spend 8 hours making really huge complex HTML tables and copy-pasting giant amounts of very badly written code into them. This plus a 4-credit night class means almost no time to work on music or lay around in general sad On the upside, the people are cool and it pays well. I gots concerts I wanna get tickets for. Also on a lighter note, I second the amazingness of banana sammiches.

Ryuu> Congrats! Is calc II multivariable, or just really intense integration and polar coordinates and stuff? Cause I'm either taking that now to make up credits or I will be next semester. Either way I'll feel your pain eventually biggrin

My Calculus 2 course was Intense Integration, Polar Coordinates, Series, all their formulas, theorems and techniques, and three dimensional coordinates, vectors and plane equations. xd I'm so glad I'm over it, I thought I was destined to flunk eternally. 3rd time's a charm biggrin
